When I purchased my meal on January 5 2026 the total came out to $10.96, I gave the cashier $30 because I thought I had enough spare one dollar bills to cover it with $11. However when I realized I was short I gave another $20 to the cashier who gave me $5.03 in change. When I realized the discrepancy in change I immediately parked and went into the store to receive the rest of my change. To which I was told they needed to count the full drawer in order to give me my change and they would call me back in thirty minutes. After more than an hour past I received no call and proceeded to go back to the store. There I was told that regardless of the math I couldn’t receive the correct change of $4.01 due to their count of the drawer being allegedly correct. While I was patient throughout the whole encounter I do not appreciate my time being waisted over what could’ve been quickly corrected by simply looking at the last transaction and making sure the change given matched the transaction record.

I bought a shake from here tonight that was effectively a cup of milk. I don’t know how. Cookout shakes are usually a firm ice cream that you can barely drink. But I got this shake and it looked melted, put it in the freezer for an hour and it never improved. Waste of my money, not very happy. I just wanted some ice cream :/

First I didn’t get all of my food. Cheese nuggets were missing. I took my tray and reciept and showed them. They gave me some which apparently were the scrap remnants left from the fryer. Hard as a rock. Onion rings were over cooked and hard also. Probably my first and last time going to Cook Out.

So, tonight y’all were not on your game. My husband came through and ordered 2 trays, burger and chicken one. He asked for cajun seasoning to be put on the whole chicken tray, on my chicken and fries. He was told they might could accommodate that. Okay, fine if you’re out or your busy, okay. He also ordered 2 milkshakes, you forgot to give them to him.
He parked after almost leaving and came in to get them. He said the same lady who gave home his food in the drive thru came to the counter when he came inside to get them and when he asked for them she gave him a dumbfounded and asked if he had his receipt. He asked her do you not remember me from literally 20 seconds ago? He said someone else who saw him saw the milkshakes behind her and gave them to him no problem. I get y’all get busy, but pay attention a little better. And before you say I should work in the industry to know what is like, I have actually. Im not being a Karen, just trying to help this store stay at its best and talk to people nicer.

Drive thru worker couldn’t understand a car was ahead of me and they were looking at their order and I haven’t even spoken to anyone yet but continued to argue with me until I just finally left to go elsewhere
