Great little spot to get some authentic cuisine. The menu has many tasty options, I had the mixed plate with steak, chicken, and shrimp. It came with a side of rice and beans. Very tasty. I also recommend trying the pupusa’s, they’re also very good. Food comes fast, and it’s a busy spot. So you know the food is good. I definitely recommend and will be back.

I visited Pupuseria Salvadoreña Las Veronicas with my sister and her 5-year-old son, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, we felt uncomfortable. Everyone turned and stared at us, and as the only Black customers in the restaurant, it truly felt like we didn’t belong. It set a negative tone for the entire visit.
The customer service was just as poor. No one greeted us warmly, checked on us during the meal, or came by to see if we needed anything. We even had to get up and go to the counter just to get our receipt.
As for the food, my fried fish meal with rice, beans, and a small salad slong with my nephew’s nuggets and fies were the only thing that was actually good. Unfortunately, my sister wasn’t as lucky, her chicken breast and shrimp was extremely dry, and the plantains were dry and flavorless. They were served with a sour cream and ketchup mix that didn’t help improve the taste.
Overall, this visit was uncomfortable and disappointing from start to finish. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve both their service and the dining experience for all customers.

The interior was quite esthetically pleasing however the food and service weren’t that memorable or great. It also made us feel estranged that everyone turned around and looked as us and some people laughed when we walked in after being silent….. as well as some people giggling when we went to be seated and couldnt understand our server. (We were given someone who could)

The food was extremely unflavored and just basic. Wasn’t memorable or a meal I would go out of my way to eat. The staffing appeared to be strictly Spanish speaking.. which, i had no issue with if our one server was slightly more inviting and explained the menu to us since it was mostly names without images or really explained in English.

I’m not sure if they didnt flavor it because we are white or if they just didnt do spices with their food… the food was good, however the fat on the meat was slightly more than I would’ve liked, no spice or flavor (painfully bland) and just overall not memorable. Portions were small but extremely filling. We ate at roughly 2 and didnt feel hungry for the rest of the night. Which is the only real good thing I can say about the food.

I truly wish that I could give a better review since it wasnt horrible food, just not memorable and bland…. the service was ok but overall not tip worthy or attentive.

We went eat there with coworkers. We ordered popusas and some else ordered tacos. We all loved the food. It has very good taste. The portions are good. The popusas are like the mexican gorditas but these are closed. The prices are very reasonable. I tried for first time the maracuya, and really liked it. The waiter was very friendly.

Quality place. Solid authentic foods. The place was consistently busy, and with fellow Latinos! So you know it’s good. The yuca with chicharron was amazing, cooked to perfection.

One of my favorite restaurants near my house in Garden City. I typically go once a month to order take out and my food is always amazing. My go-to is the Mixio Con Tajadas, but everything I’ve had has always been delicious. I’ve dined in a few times and the service has always been fantastic. There is a slight language barrier but that has never been an issue; the staff is patient and helpful when I struggle to pronounce something correctly. All-in-all an amazing gem of a restaurant!

This is another hidden gem just outside of Savannah.. it is in Garden City. The Carne Asada was so good, very flavorful. Everything was made fresh. The pupusas revueltas were amazing. This place is definitely worth a visit.

I had three revueltas pupusas with curtido and salsa, and they were fantastic! The flavors were authentic, and the pupusas were cooked to perfection. I would have liked a bit more curtido, but overall, it was an excellent experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious and authentic pupusas!

I was coming through town and did a Google search on Salvadoran restaurants. This one came up so I gave it a shot and I was more than satisfied.

My wife of 30 years is from El Salvador, so I’m familiar with the food and I was not disappointed. I’ve had Salvadoran food in literally every corner of the United States, including the country of El Salvador. This was at the top of the list and that’s not stretching the truth.

Everybody was friendly and nice and yeah it helps if you speak a little bit of Spanish but it’s not needed if you know how to point and use your fingers. They can Speak some English but don’t be a Karen and leave a bad review because of it. My Spanish is limited, but it didn’t take away from the experience and getting my order made to perfection.

I started off with the traditional Horchata, which is a nice sweet drink. I then had a variety of Papusas, which is the national dish along with some fried yucca. I also grabbed a dessert quesadilla which is basically a sweet type of bread that is delicious.

If you’ve never had Salvadoran food then I would recommend you give this establishment a chance because it is one of the best.
