I was served DEAD , BROWN & GOOEY CRAWFISH at Koo’s Fish Market. I was very polite and nice about it just wanting to get Green Mussels Instead of crawfish since it’s dead brown and gooey the manager told his cashier no returns once ordered but the problem was on their end !

To be fair, I would give Koo’s a 3.5⭐️s if I had that option. The 1 through 5 option doesn’t give alot of room for nuance. So I’ll do my best in my description.
I ordered the 2 piece catfish with hot wings and a side of fries. The catfish was pretty good. The fish flavor was a little strong. (Not that it was bad, just an FYI), but I was not disappointed. The batter was tasty, and not too oily. Not the best I’ve had. But not terrible either. The wings were ok. No real zing or spiciness. The ranch dressing was packaged so there was no real way to improve on a so-so wing. A little extra effort on a homemade ranch goes a long way. (That goes for any mayo based sauce. TARTAR INCLUDED!) That being said it was pretty good. The fries were fine. Nothing to write home about. After my visit, I read some reviews, and the gumbo seemed to have some positive reviews. Bummed I wasn’t able to give it a go. And since I’m not up that way much, not sure I’ll get the chance. But in all honesty there are other places not to far I’d probably try or drive to before a return visit.
And lastly the $12.99 for what I got was teetering on a little to spendy. But if you are in the mood for some seafood, Koo’s is not the worst option.

Koo’s is a delightful find in Center Point! The fish was prepared fresh in front of me and was cooked to order. The menu covers seafood, seafood boils, gumbo and wings. The restaurant, grocery and seating area were all clean and well managed. The service was friendly and the food, even though prepared to order, were delivered faster than we expected. Everything was hot and delicious.

Wings use to be good before the new manager came in and I stopped seeing the lady . Yall need to go back to the old recipe yall new hot wings don’t taste good it’s the sauce it was hot with some sweetness to it . This what they use to look like.

12/20/25. Purchased 1lb of red snapper fish along with side broccoli & Cole slaw. The sides were alright however the fish was not fresh at all. it was old, tough, and not enjoyable.

I usually eat it for lunch and it’s pretty good but on yesterday I ordered a 50 piece for a party 3 people ate 5 wings and were throwing up everywhere 30 min later. The wings were still pink in the middle, we even put them in the oven for a while to try and cook them through but people ended up sick and I had to throw away over 30 pieces of chicken. Called and told them and didn’t get any type of concern or anything. I’ll NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! Money down the drain and the birthday girl was sick as a dog. They literally ruined her party!

Always good food. Normally get fish dinner, but wanted chicken wings. I got the lemon pepper wet and dry… its good. The fries need seasoning, but the food is still good.
