This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. Quite frankly, the food is always amazing. Today was my second time at this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The gyro is flavorful, the tzatziki is amazing, the portion sizes are gigantic and the service is amazing. I can’t think of anything negative to say about this restaurant. I really enjoy it. The quality and quantity is amazing and the prices are unbelievably reasonable.

Opas is a fantastic Greek restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. When you dine in, you’re treated to a complimentary platter with pita, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce, which is a nice touch. I had the Gyro platter, and my wife tried the low-carb Gyro. Both dishes were tasty and satisfying. However, the baklava didn’t quite live up to expectations—it wasn’t as good as we hoped. That said, if we’re in the area again, we’d definitely consider returning to Opas.

Excellent Greek restaurant on the old 4th street district! We were looking for healthy salad place and this one caught our eye and it did not disappoint! Before we even ordered, the server brought a plate of pita breads, yogurt and hummus spread with sliced cucumbers. Then we ordered grilled octopus (appetizer), Horiatiki salad (aka quintessential Greek salad), and combo platter (gyro and beef). The portions are HUGE! The appetizer is the size of an entree and the octopus is very tender and flavorful (cooked in wine and herb). I also love my Greek salad as it strikes a great balance of refreshing and flavorful (from sweet onions and feta cheese). I just wish they could add olive oil not the salad though.
All the servers are very tentative. Restaurant has many Greek paintings and statues as decorations. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes Mediterranean food!

I travel for work and have lunch at Opas Grill when I am in Tucson once in a while. I always order the Greek Spaghetti. Its always been fresh and light. Today I ordered the same and my order did not have the mushrooms or spinach. I asked a waitress if I could get the mushrooms and spinach. They finally brought them when we were ready to leave. I also realized my spaghetti was very greasy. The pictures are my to go container and bag when I got home. I had already soaked up grease from my spaghetti with 2 napkins. Very disappointing.

Good food for a great value! We all truly enjoyed our meals – two salmon plates and two spicy chicken kebab plates. The rice is very tasty and the chicken seasoning is great. My partner’s parents raved about the seasoning on the salmon.
Our waiter was very friendly and gave us great service. It felt like the plates were very large for the price, a bonus. And they brought out some tzatziki and pita at the beginning!

Opa’s is riding a streak with me that few restaurants maintain. Every time I’ve eaten there, the food is delicious, the service is fast, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. I ordered a gyro with fries, and it was delicious and filling. I’ll keep coming back and recommend Opa’s to anyone looking for great Greek food to eat.

pure magic . Gyros so good they should come with a warning, feta that makes you weep tears of joy, and tzatziki that could solve world peace. The vibe is lively and friendly, and the food is so good not even DoorDash or UberEats can bring it down. If you leave without saying “opa!” at least once, you didn’t go hard enough. Tucson, you’re lucky to have this gem.

My daughter and I are relatively new to Tucson and were looking for a good gyro place to be eat. Look no more! The food was delicious and plentiful. If we had more time, we would have ordered more to take home. The only problem I had was with the bar. My Marguerite was strong, watery with lots of ice. Still, we’d definitely go eat there again!

The food was great! The lamb dolmados were delicious. The ground lamb added an extra element to the flavor. Octopus was good as well. The pieces were tender and not overcooked. The roasted lamb was enjoyable. It was tender. My only “complaint” would be having just a little more flavor. Everyone I went with enjoyed their meals, and the tzatziki sauce was awesome!! Service was good, and the ambiance was nice as well.
