We stopped by Maharani’s in Ash Flat to grab some takeout and decided to try the gyro sandwich. It was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor! The server was very friendly and made our quick stop a pleasant experience. The place is simple, nice, and cozy – nothing fancy, but it has a warm and welcoming vibe that makes it feel like a hidden gem in a small town. We’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

4.5 stars as there’s always room for improvement 😉 Graciously welcoming friendly and efficient staff. Widely varied menu. My Lamb Birhani was delicious,lightly spiced. Taziki sauce was the perfect accompaniment. The aroma from the beautifully presented Chai took me to another place. Chai was so wonderful,I took some over ice with me. YUM! much healthier than iced latte… Have an adventure, eat here. 🙂

The food was decent. We just ordered burgers. Service was friendly, but slow. Took 40 minutes to get burger and fry orders. Size was plenty and flavor was fine. Just slow service. Noticed other tables waiting a while also. The sweet little girls helping was adorable.

Indian food with great flavor! I loved the garlic naan. The Tikka masala and rice was aromatic. The other dish had a spicy kick but very good!

Absolutely love the food, the staff have always been friendly. Favorites (so far) chicken Tikka on naan – the chicken is so tender and flavorful, and of course the butter chicken is also delicious, very flavorful as well.

I personally don’t care for Indian Food, but everyone else loves it. That said, you won’t find a better burger or steak anywhere in the area. A steak with a piece of naan is my favorite thing. Seems they are top notch at everything they make. Their flavors are amazing. My wife loves their deserts. We eat here or get takeout at least once a month.

The service was incredible! Tikka Misala was good, but the Butter Chicken was a little disappointing. It seems that they used boiled chicken (it was a little slimy) in the Butter Chicken, which really held the dish back. Would have been better if the chicken had been pan cooked along with the all the traditional Indian spices and allowed to marinate. All this said, I think we’ll be back to try other dishes but probably won’t order the Butter Chicken again.
