If you can get to the plaza restaurant at the right time, it is truly an awesome experience to have at Magic Kingdom. Tucked away off the main street, the plaza restaurant feels like a slice of old world Boardwalk, very reminiscent of the Disney’s Grand Floridian. While small, they grouped the tables that it doesn’t feel like you were on top of other guest, and there are alcove spread throughout so that it doesn’t bounce the sound around and make the entire restaurant deafening. The carpeting also helps with sound absorption. The food was good though again not the best that I’ve had in Disney World. It was still a welcome change from the quick service restaurants and had the type of quality that I would expect of a restaurant within a park. And for those that have not frequently dined at these type of park restaurants that simply means the food was good but mass produced. It is meant to satisfy the masses so there isn’t anything necessarily special about the type of food you would get here. That being said, the presentation was impeccable with a milkshake that looked absolutely insane and tasted pretty good and a main course that was filling and just what we needed to complete our day at Magic Kingdom. Overall, the plaza restaurant is a good option of dining at the Magic Kingdom and is recommended for small parties of about 3 to 4, specifically those who have older children or adult adults. Not that younger kids cannot enjoy it, but in thinking of other guests, this is definitely more of an older child experience.

Possibly Best Burger in the park… it was awesome. Bacon double cheeseburger on potato 9/10, though pushed the carmelized onions off to the side. Possibly best dish on menu. Thick cut dinner fries were really good. Other items: pulled pork sandwich 7/10 but 8/10 when add additional bbq sauce (served a bit dry). Crispy chicken sandwich 4/10 was pretty dry, Chicken (grilled) Waldorf salad was really good 9/10.

Was it the best meal of my life, no — but it was a perfect dinner (more affordable than other Magic kingdom offerings) to refuel after a day of walking in the parks!
Loved their seasonal menu – the Tuscan gnocchi soup was divine and the coffee pumpkin spice pulled pork sandwich didn’t really taste like coffee or pumpkins, but I was still digging it
Everyone at my table of 5 loved their dinner, from the Waldorf salad to the fried chicken sandwich. Plus, our 7 year old wolfed down his Mac & cheese

We had a fantastic server named Ken from Binghamton. He was wonderful and us never made us feel like we were putting him out. The kids meals came with two sides, one of which could be ice cream which was a cute little sundae. Portions were decent and three adults and two kids. They ate for $125 with tip. Amazing to be able to eat while looking out at the crazy crowds and the castle and feel calm.

Delicious food and amazing service! We ordered the burger, crispy chicken, and milkshakes — everything was great.
Totally worth the long wait, especially while enjoying the parade

My wife and I were looking for a different place to eat in the Magic Kingdom and this location caught our attention. We had been past it many times before and managed to get a reservation for lunch. It is a smaller restaurant and this is one of the reasons it is harder to get reservations here. They certainly were busy but they were able to take us in abit after our original reservation time. From there on all went quickly. Our table attendant (Min) greeted us and took our drink and meal orders. These arrived a short time later. I had the Turkey club sandwich. It was pretty good, flavorful and filling. My wife had the Shrimp Louie Salad and really enjoyed it. We had a great meal and service thanks to Min! We look foward to eating here again.

Another great experience. The pot roast stack is always a hit with my family but this time we decided to get the club house. It was so extremely large and filled my teenage son for the afternoon. Great value for the money. The loaded fries were tasty but needed way more cheese sauce . Service was a bit slow, other than that we had a great lunch.

We love The Plaza.
Great little mid-day retreat from the hot summer sun of the Magic Kingdom for tasty sandwiches and other plates.
Service can get a bit backed up and busy due to the popularity of this sit down restaurant, but overall we still love it.
Must try: Pot Roast Stack and Crispy Chicken Sandwhich. Delightful.
Pro-tip: try to get a table by a window to see the sights of the hub and do some people watching! 🙂

Reservation is a must.
We had a reservation for 7:55 (we checked in at 7:35), but they didn’t seat us until 8:10. We were lucky and only waited 15 minutes; some families had been waiting 1 hour because they were so behind schedule.
Our waiter was also horrible and took 25 minutes to get our food, we ate, and it took another 25 minutes to get the check. She never gave it to us and I had to ask the hostess for the bill.
Other people in our section came later, ate, paid, and left before us.
The food was good and “reasonably priced” for Disney. Each of the dinner entrees were $20-30. We also got drinks and it was 180 / 4 adults for the total bill.

First off our server was great and ended up making the visit much more pleasant.
The food was good but not the best they have had there.
Even though we had a reservation we didn’t get in until 25 minutes after, and add another 10 minutes checking in early.
So 35 minutes of pure chaos out side of that place. Management couldn’t even control the swarms of people wanting to check-in or get into the restaurant.
I’ve been going to the magic Kingdom at WDW for decades. I’ve never seen the place so mismanaged. They have the wrong people running the place and it shows in every park of the park.
I hope everyday it will change back for the better but I just see of fail just a little more each day.
I did want to mention this is one of the more reasonable priced places but also hard to get into because of the small size.
