If you’re looking for a true New York–style sandwich shop, this place nailed it. I ordered the Italian on an everything bagel and it was quite possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The meat was incredibly fresh, perfectly layered, and paired with thinly sliced veggies that added the perfect flavor — especially the cucumbers. Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and satisfying. You can tell real care goes into the ingredients and execution. This is the kind of sandwich you keep thinking about long after you’re done eating. I’ll absolutely be back!

Sandwich flavors are very good. Americano coffee was flavorful but cups weren’t full. Music in shop is really loud. Sandwiches are small for price.

This is the little bagel shop you never knew you needed in your life. The food is super yummy and always made just right—not too much and yet ingredients are perfectly in proportion for the most delicious bagel experience.

More importantly, the proprietors are amazing. They are genuinely nice, and they work really hard so you have a good experience.

Not the best experience. Seems like this place is new based upon the amount of reviews. If you see “New York Bagels” on the window you don’t think that the bagels are going to come out of a plastic bag, as if you got them at the grocery store. Orders were taken quickly but it took 30 minutes to get two breakfast sandwiches. Seems like some improvements could be made to the line to expedite churning out the sandwiches. Overall very underwhelming meal for the amount of time we had to wait.

The staff here are genuinely nice people, and the atmosphere is pleasant enough to make it a decent spot to stop in. That said, I was really disappointed to learn that the bagels are not sourced from where they claim. They’re using Kroger-purchased products — including Dave’s Killer Bread bagels and the generic Kroger brand, paired with standard Philadelphia cream cheese straight from the Kroger dairy aisle.

Charging nearly $18 for a grocery-store bagel and cream cheese is honestly shocking. At that price point, they must be doing extremely well on margins, but it feels like the customer experience doesn’t reflect the premium they’re asking us to pay. It would be easier to stomach if the sourcing were transparent, or if the value matched the cost. Unfortunately, it comes off as misleading and wildly overpriced for what it is.

It also rubbed me the wrong way that free water isn’t even offered to customers — a small courtesy that would go a long way, especially when you’re charging specialty-shop prices for store-bought items.

I want to like this place, and again, the team is friendly. But honesty and pricing matter, and this felt like a miss on both. I hope they take feedback like this to heart, because the people deserve better than the narrative being sold, and the customers deserve better than the prices being charged.

Delicious food, great chat! I got the pastrami and provolone .
The vibe is so cute and definitely feels like a bodega! Coffee, soda, water, chips, cookies, wine, etc!

Also, ask for the speakeasy if you’re looking for an afternoon drink! IYKYK !!

The pastrami & provolone sandwich is AMAZING. All the meat, bread/bagels, and ingredients are quality. The owners are so kind and the atmosphere is very welcoming. There’s all kinds of snacks, drinks, ingredients, etc. for a quick trip instead of going to the grocery store. The location is perfect with some outdoor seating, so excited to have this in Covington!

This cozy little spot instantly makes you feel like a regular—even if it’s your first visit. The owner and staff go out of their way to greet you with genuine warmth, and you can tell they really care about every customer. I ordered the Pastrami and Provolone bagel, and wow—what a flavor bomb! The smoky, tender pastrami paired perfectly with the creamy provolone, all nestled in a perfectly toasted bagel with just the right chew. Every bite was rich, satisfying, and seriously addictive.

I made a social media video describing my first visit in which there was no chocolate for my dine in order, my espresso was forgotten about and served cold to me when I had to ask for it again after being almost done with my sandwich, there was no avocado available, and the employee was yelling on the phone when I walked in and didn’t hang up or address me for at least two minutes. I also mentioned how the sandwhich had some sort of sauce on it that was not listed on the menu anywhere so I didn’t expect it and I did not enjoy it. The owner of this place also owns a law firm in the greater Cincinnati area- why did one of his law firm employees Kaylah decide to berate me in the comments for my opinion calling me the queen of picky? Good thing they can’t sue me for my opinion lol. Wouldn’t trust this group as far as I could throw em

Walked over to the Bodega from Madison Ave today. Super easy walk. I walked into the place and it was beautiful in there. Just the cutest little corner shop. They serve bagels and bagel sandwiches as well as drinks and all kinds of odds and ends. They even have a wine room in the back. The lady who took my order was so sweet and the bagels were AMAZING. This will be a repeat lunch stop. Go check it out.
