Was passing by and decided to stop for the first time in roughly 5 years, pre-Covid. My experience was really nice and pleasant. Clean parking lot, clean tables, new A/C ventilation, river views, bar with draft beer and wine, and really good food. I ordered the machaca for breakfast, which came with fresh handmade corn tortillas, which is a rarity these days. The food was steaming hot! Everything tasted really good and nothing was over-seasoned or too salty. They have a salsa bar if you want to add more flavor and spice things up a little. The prices are very reasonable too. They also have a display case with pastries and churros. I’d definitely come back again. This location has the potential of being an Isleton or Rio Vista karaoke night spot, especially in the summer time during boating season. It’s also accessible from the river by boat!

My wife and I, along with my grandson, visited the spot a while back. Highly recommend this place.

Updated 2/12/24 to reflect new management and food. This place was one of the best kept secrets on the delta. The food had flavor and the old lady that ran it was great. I just went today and the food was bland. Only thing that saved the flavor was the salsa station which thank God, hasn’t changed. The waiter couldn’t remember that I ordered steak fajitas and the food came out cold, bland and without tortillas. Had to remind them about that then they were cold. Had to chase them down to pay the bill which literally took 8 minutes to accomplish while standing at the bar… won’t be back unless I see another “under new management ” banner in a few months.

Great little quiet bar. Looks good Mexican food. Good prices. Stuck in traffic. You should be coming here.

If you’re cruising through the delta you should stop and have a beer and some really good food. If there’s traffic. Go have a beer. ✌️

Hubby and I checked this out on Sunday for an early dinner. Leticia (?) our server greeted us immediately & invited us to sit down. She immediately brought chips, invited us to serve ourself at the salsa bar & took our drink order. Hubby ordered the fajita style Taco salad & I, spicy shrimp tostadas. Both were full of FRESH & CRISP vegetables.. His beef was flavorful & tender, my shrimp was well seasoned (according to my preference) & cooked perfectly! We plan on taking visiting family again this Thursday.
The place is in Viera Marina resort & gets lot s of take-out business from the boaters.
Casual, clean, full bar!

New restaurant at Vieira’s Resort in Isleton. “Hidden gem” as they say. Had lunch of chicken enchiladas suizas with green tomatillo sauce. Under $10!!! . Rice is fluffy and fresh. Refried beans have a hint of bacon. Very tasty and well seasoned. Salsa bar with five different types of salsa from which to choose. Cozy fireplace too. Very good food at reasonable prices. $6.99 lunch specials !!! Gotta come back for breakfast this weekend.
