Visiting Cape May for a week and struggling to find good pizza. Walked past Mario’s on our way to the Acme and decided to give it a try. Just average food.
I ordered the plain cheese pizza. The crust was good, the tomato sauce had little to no flavor and the cheese was just melted not toasted or browned. Pizza is average.
My partner ordered the Spaghetti Marinara, again just average. The pasta was a mix of spaghetti and linguine, like the leftover pasta. The sauce had little flavor, and the bread and salad were just ok.
Overall, just average Italian food.

Pizza was fantastic! Hard to find a good crust and this place got it right. Not chewy, not soggy. Had a light airy crunch. Don’t think I’ve had a better textured crust ever! Garlic knots were amazing. Meatballs are great as well. Glad we found this place!

i was in cape may for the day with family and we wanted an affordable italian option for dinner and mario’s was a very pleasant surprise! i got the light summer pasta dish which was delicious and the staff kindly accommodated my dietary restriction and made sure it came with no cheese. the salad and bread the dish came with were also great- the bread especially! the rest of my family enjoyed their meals greatly too. would definitely visit again when i’m in the area!

Awesome Pizza.. Only one word to describe the food here – “FANTASTIC”
My wife doesn’t like pizza at other places in New Jersey, but will only eat Mario’s Pizza.
We make it a point to visit Mario’s whenever we are at the shore. We even travel to Cape May when we are on vacation in Wildwood to get pizza from Mario’s.

Best pizzeria around in cape may, I’ve tried out a few in the area and this is by far the best one hands down!
The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing the place is clean and the guy at the register is also so nice and welcoming!

The best pizza I’ve had in a long time.And I came all the way from Hamilton, NJ Mercer County, just to get it! It is the best regular pie you can get! The cheese, the crispy crust. It’s delicious!
