Smashburger at Salt Lake City International Airport is a great spot to grab a satisfying meal while traveling. The burgers are freshly prepared, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, making it a welcome change from typical airport fast food. The menu offers a good variety of options, including classic beef burgers, chicken, and vegetarian choices, so there’s something for everyone.
The staff is friendly and efficient, even during busy travel hours, and service is reasonably quick. Portions are generous, and the food quality is consistently good. The restaurant area is clean and well maintained, providing a comfortable place to relax before a flight.
Overall, Smashburger at SLC Airport delivers tasty food, good service, and reliable quality. It’s an excellent choice for travelers looking for a fresh, filling, and enjoyable meal at the airport.

The thought of buying my food as separate items was always a no-go for me. I decided to try this place but ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and it was nothing short of delicious. I was pleased with the taste of the sandwich and the smash tots which have olive oil, rosemary, and garlic powder. I highly recommend you stop into a smash burger and try their menu.

Thumbs up. A bit out of the way at the end of terminal B but the service was quite fast and the food actually looked like the pictures.
I can’t stand the kiosks way of ordering especially when they ask for a tip and I am doing part of the job. I am so tired of the tipping culture now days.
Delicious burgers although we added am extra items and I do t think they were included. I can’t say for sure but there were not two extra servings of pickles.
Fries were rock hard. Not burnt but hard and crunchy.
Those are the only negatives. Definitely not a reason to skip.

I don’t know why this place is only getting a 3.5/5 avg rating, but I really enjoyed their burger. The best part is the price: ~$10. As someone who travels to different US cities throughout the year and has grabbed a lot of quick bites at airports, it’s hard to find a decent sized (double!) burger for anything less than $15 at any airport. So even purely from a value point of view, I don’t think this can be beat. And you can see that the burger is well put together and tasted quite good.

Genuinely awful burgers. Unsalted, dried old burger meat was given… wish I could get a refund. The potato bread is nice enough, but if the burger is gross what’s the point?
I ordered a plain hamburger and it was still nearly $8. Insane… dumb place, never coming back here.

These are not just your ordinary burgers! These burgers are seasoned to perfection! The smash fries as well! I knew we had to get some lunch at the airport, and we wanted to try a new place. I have heard that the avocado chicken club is the best. I actually just got the grilled chicken burger on there wheat bun. It was really good. And my husband loved his classic cheeseburger. There were way too many onions, so, if you don’t like onions, make sure you ask them not to put any on. We just took ours off. The fries are really good, but they were definitely greasy when we got to the bottom. So, if you need to avoid greasy foods, this may not be the place for you. I will definitely revisit when I’m at the airport. I wish that we had one locally that I could visit without visiting the airport.

Located at the end of Terminal B.. you have to order at the kiosks. They got our order wrong, so had to mark them down for that. Tried the smashtots, I thought they were just ok. Would not order them again. Got the cookies n cream milkshake. It was yummy but pretty small for the price. It’s airport prices, so everything is a little more any way.

I ordered at 12:02. There was nobody in the kitchen until 12:10, except for an older guy who came out to get a soda and hid himself somewhere in the back. At 12:10 Three people come and start making food. In about five minutes that had made two orders of fries. Meanwhile, the orders were piling up and NOBODY was being served. When they finally started calling orders at 12:20, they kept calling orders that came after me (I had a burger and fries. Can’t make it more basic). When I asked if my food was coming, the older soda guy said he was starting it. Exactly twenty minutes after ordering, I finally got my food. The fries were chewy and the burger had so many onions and ketchup that it smelled like armpit and looked like someone had been murdered inside the burger wrapper. On top of it, the counter was covered in soda, so it was really sticky, and there were receipts and straw wrappers all over the counter. This place is officially trash.

Love this chain it is one of my favorites! I was bummed to find out they don’t do any of the off menu items here. They do at any place I’ve been too, but not here and they acted like I was stupid for asking. Anyways the burgers are awesome as well as the fries! Happy to have this for dinner pre-flight! The totes are to die for!

Best chicken sandwich I have had in 2025! I was surprised to find this level of taste, quality and at a reasonable price at an airport. The smash fries are delicious as well. Portions are generous.
