I see all of these wonderful reviews, and I was so excited, but I would have rather heated up a Banquet pot pie. THIS WAS GROSS, watery, flavorless. The worse food I have bought out in years, including fast food restaurants! Was it a bad night or is it me? I don’t know, nor care. I have very many other potentially good places to try. This is a photo of what is supposed to be a bean dip that I paid extra for. It was flavorless WATER with some gross chunks of something in it. I heated it at 30 secs six times to see if that thing would melt and it never did. I had some “waterchiledes” and my husband got the loco burrito. He said it was okay but he would not order it again. Sorry. I will not spend my money here again. I’m glad everyone else enjoyed their experience. Maybe it was an odd, bad night. Bad enough, I will never go back. It was so gross, it almost makes me sick to my stomach. 🙁 You tell me is this ” bean dip?”

It wasnt busy when we got there but then it picked up. It was fun. Excellent margaritas. The cheese enchilada was great and so was the chicken and la Diablo. The server Hector was on it with the service and conversation. The restrooms were clean.it was a wonderful experience.

I was in there during a slow time of day and they took advantage of that time and were all over it in terms of care. Fantastic service. Almost every employee checked on me as they walked by. Very kind. Food came out fresh and HOT. Steaming.
Also, these items are priced very accordingly to their quality. You won’t feel like you got ripped off. Good portions.

The food was delicious with good portions and it came out quickly. Menu had lots of yummy options. Asked for kids quesadilla and it came out so fast which is amazing since kids are impatient! Also, thanks for having a clean, nice and good smelling bathroom. I know it’s weird but some places are just gross and this was surprisingly pleasant.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Anywhere. Hands down. The service is good and the food is always great. Every time I drive near Carmel, In. I stop and eat. They do have a gotcha, they will offer changes without mentioning they will up-charge. For instance, “no queso” earns a response “I can add shredded cheese.” and the bill contains an unmentioned up-charge. Excellent food, though. The building and bathrooms are clean and fixed – and that sometimes says a lot about a place. No one likes stepping on broken tiles and splashing in water from a broken sink like some Mexican restaurants. I was told my reviews will be funnier if beyatch is added at the end. It doesn’t seem funnier, beyatch.

I ordered the carne asada tacos online assuming they’d give me decent carne asada and cilantro and onion with corn tortillas and maybe a specific salsa or something. No just flour tortillas and carne asada and rice and beans which had no flavor and the beans were runny.
I also got a kids arroz con pollo and the rice and chicken didn’t taste like anything either walked out spending 28$ for some of the worst “Mexican food” I’ve ever had. The reviews looked good so I assume they might be better if you actually sit down but I definitely won’t be going back to test it

Average Mexican food in the suburbs. Large portions. A little high on the prices based on the quality you get. 35 bucks for nachos and tortilla soup, water and tip .

The only reason that we go here is because of the code location to our home. The food is okay and the service is attentive.
I would love to come here more often of some things were improved: first…the booth by the bathrooms with the room divider next to it is a terrible seating location and actually was my main reason for coming to leave a review. We were sat here and when asked for another seat we were told no. The room divider does not prevent the bathroom smell from creeping in while trying to enjoy the food. This is also near where all the employees congregate and they were talking about some of the other restaurant guests in Spanish. Don’t sit people here out find a better solution to the terrible spot. Nobody wants to smell urinal cakes while eating.
Next, the food…c’mon, at least make the chips in-house to be more authentic. The salsa is actually pretty good, but store-bagged chips are mediocre at best. The steak fajitas were chewy and disappointing, but I still ate it anyway. 3 tortillas for fajitas is not enough, but extra cost quite a bit more.
The menu is big and confusing.

My husband and I ordered takeout. I had the Camarones Especiales, my husband had a quesadilla, and we also ordered chicken tortilla soup. The Camarones Especiales is essentially shrimp “simmered in [their] special sauce”. The shrimp was not seasoned at all and tasted like frozen cocktail shrimp. Their “special sauce” was a watery unflavorful mess. I was unable to eat it so my husband traded me. His quesadilla had chicken in it, which was also unseasoned. The chicken tortilla soup leaked in the bag (should have been wrapped in plastic wrap) and got all over everything, and is also underseasoned and extremely greasy. I was also suppose to get tortillas with mine and my husband was suppose to get lettuce, tomato, and sour cream with his (included on the menu), none of which were got.
