Came for lunch twice. They are fast it’s affordable and tastes really good. Salsa tastes fresh and it’s smooth. I’ve tried the steak then the chicken fajita quesadilla. It comes with a tiny side of queso which I think is a very nice touch. The second trip I tried the pico de gallo and it was more onion than anything. The rice and beans were seasoned well and not overcooked.

Stopped in here while driving from Missouri to New Orleans, just got a craving for Mexican food and picked one nearby. GREAT friendly service, excellent food. The hubby had steak tacos, while I went with both the spinach quesadilla (delicious, packed with vegetables) and the cheese tamales. I’ve never seen a vegetarian tamale option at a Mexican restaurant, and I definitely didn’t expect to find one in Mississippi, but I did! Very pleased with the experience here! Wish we could come back, but probably won’t be down here for a long while unfortunately! But we will miss it!

I discovered El Dorado about a month ago. And it is amazing. Ive been having a hard time finding good Mexican food out here in Mississippi. However, this restaurant hits close to home for me.

Don’t waste your money or time. We went in for a light meal and drinks, ordered guacamole which came to the table very white in color, with an almost puréed texture, and with zero flavor. We wondered if they put mayo in so we asked but they told us they add sour cream. It was terrible, we requested for them to remove it from the bill but they refused. The salsa was nothing more than canned blended watery tomatoes (almost juice). No seasoning whatsoever. The food is bla at best. The waiter was amazing and friendly.

Nice folks but their brown/Mexican card needs to be revoked. Food was horrible! If you want cold beer this is the place for you. The red sauce had zero taste and the enchiladas were at best warm. Not even warm enough to melt the cheese.

My husband and I love to come here for dates or celebrations and with or without the kids we always have an amazing time. Service is wonderful from the time you walk in till you walk out. Every dish is cooked perfectly and never have we had anything from the bar that’s not expertly mixed. I look forward to coming back for years to come.

We dined here on our way to the Eras Tour in New Orleans. It was clean and the staff was friendly. My friend ordered a margarita on the rocks and it came out frozen. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a bummer. The meat wasn’t seasoned at all- just ground beef. The veggies and cheese on my tostada were fresh! I ordered a side of the white queso and it was super runny and not very flavorful. Overall this was a great location based on where we stayed and the food was filling.

Worst experience today as we went to El Dorado to have lunch and the kitchen staff had music on so loud that it was drowning out the music in the front so we heard both play. My mother asked for it to be turned down and twice she was laughed at by the servers. After that she asked the owners daughter who said I can move you instead of telling the staff to be professional enough to turn it down. The daughter was extremely dismissive and rude. She said I’m sorry we disagree and allowed the staff to continue with their music in the back. My mother politely asked and later became mad because of how she was talked to.

Excellent place to eat! We were seated quickly, greeted, and served drinks within 5 minutes of our arrival. Our server was absolutely fantastic! And the food was not on fast, but DELICIOUS! Will definitely be back very soon! In a world full of disappointment, this restaurant was NOT 1 of those places ❤️
