I was planning on visiting this establishment for awhile now with my friend, Joe Fallon. Joe owed a Deli here in Inverness for over 45 years. The sandwiches we ordered were great . I had Turkey and Joe had an Italian special sub . Both items came with potato salad. The ice tea was delicious. It tasted fresh and flavorful. Our only suggestion for an added sandwich on their menu would be a meatball sub. Overall, a fantastic and clean place to enjoy lunch.

100% hands down best deli ever! No doubt! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and I cannot express enough how good it was! Subway what???? So worth every penny. I will be coming back to try more things.

Not worth the hype. Pricey, included a side but was given no options. Mac Salad had a hair in it. Water was only available by the bottle for $2+ each. Would not recommend. The works in dunnellon is comparable price wise and the portions are way larger and they offer a clean establishment and fountain water for free how it should be.

We went today for a quick lunch date with our baby and OMG – it was incredible! I had the grinder and my husband had a club, and we also got broccoli salad. All amazing. The best part was the kind service we got from this young lady and the rest of the team. 10/10 ⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️

I have been searching for a great Cuban sandwich since moving to citrus County and haven’t had any luck until the Hometown deli opened up! It is by far the best Cuban sandwich around! My husband and sons also love the other options for sandwiches as well as the broccoli salad and fresh cookies and cheesecake. Love love love the hometown deli!

I had the distinct pleasure of recently enjoying their Nova Lox bagel, and I’m here to tell you, it’s something special. Schmear, capers, salmon. The onions were perfect, and not overpowering like a lot of other places, where the cut size is more punishing than subtle. The Everything bagel had a balanced amount of chew and body, and brought everything together perfectly.
They serve Casino bread from Tampa. That in and of itself should be ’nuff said. If that doesn’t make any sense to you, stop reading now, you might be beyond help.
DO YOURSELF a favor and get to this Deli. You wouldn’t think you’d freak out over a deviled egg flight, but once you try them, you’ll be hooked. Get a pack or two for a group picnic or dinner party and you’ll have folks wide-eyed and begging for the label. It’ll say ‘Hometown Deli’.
Here’s hoping they never have to grease the front door hinges, ’cause if you enjoy the food there as much as I did, their doors will always be swinging.
