Such a cute place!! Decided to stop for a quick sweet treat and I’m so glad I did. They had a great selection of flavors! After sampling a few I decided on the Cookie Monster and cherry flavors. Cookie Monster is a must try!!! Lots of candy and other goodies to try as well.

This is the best little home town ice cream shop in the world!!!! I’ve been going there since I was a young girl and even when I have lived out of state I still have thought about this place. They have not only ice cream but they also have many many different types of candies and they also make shakes and hot cocoa and have ice cream cakes too. It’s a very cozy and comfortable place to go to. Family oriented. Great for a date. It fills all needs. Will always bring my children there.

Worker was professional and patient with our group of seven kiddos. Be prepared for a lot of ants if you sit outside which should be expected given the smell of sugar.

It’s been 20 years since I met my wife and we lived in Houma. I’m here now for a work visit and as I drove around town looking at our old home and haunts, the Scarlet Scoop appeared in my vision. Just had to stop and take a look inside.
Went in and all the memories came flooding back. I couldn’t help myself but order probably the best chocolate malt in South Louisiana.
Still the same. Excellent service. Excellent malt. I hope it’s not another 20 years to come back and I promise to bring my wife the next time. Wish she was with me tonight. And our kids too who have never been to Houma
