We ate at the Edison, Craft Ales + Kitchen, and had a great experience! The food was perfectly cooked, and the cocktails were amazing. Our server was super sweet, welcoming, and very helpful with the menu. I highly recommend eating outside if possible! The views from the restaurant are perfect! We had dinner and watched the sunset while eating. Definitely a memorable experience! I highly recommend Edison, Craft Ales + Kitchen and look forward to dining here again soon!

Edison at the Omni Grove Park Inn was an excellent dining experience and a standout in Asheville. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, including toward families with children — something that is not always the case at higher-end restaurants. The staff was friendly, patient, and accommodating, which made the experience relaxed and enjoyable for everyone at the table.

The food was very well executed, with a menu that balances Southern-inspired comfort dishes and creative flavors. What really stood out was the range of options available. There were thoughtful vegan choices, not just token substitutions, as well as plenty of options for non-vegans. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-presented, and clearly made with quality ingredients.

Service was attentive without feeling rushed, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and dietary needs. The craft beer and cocktail selection was excellent, featuring local options that paired well with the food.

The setting and views add to the experience, but what truly makes Edison special is the combination of great food, genuine hospitality, and inclusivity. If you are looking for a place that delivers quality while also being family-friendly and accommodating to vegan diners, Edison is an easy recommendation.

My family and I came in a couple weeks ago for dinner and drinks and had a great experience. I’ve been to the Edison before we vacation on Asheville a couple times a year. This was by far the best experience we’ve had. We weren’t sure how it was going to go as sometimes the kitchen seems slow eve when it doesn’t appear busy. It was a similar experience this time but luckily we had one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Her name was Alyssa and she was one of the reasons we will continue to come back and will ask for her every time. She was super knowledgeable and very attentive. She even told us about other things to check out on the hotel we had missed previously. The food was very good as usual even with the delay. Would highly recommend anyone the visits request alyssa if you want to have an elevated experience.

Highly recommend this place for the amazing atmosphere, food and service! Our server was very attentive and made great suggestions. The deviled eggs and pretzel bread were great appetizers- the Joyce Farms Chicken was delicious, and the chocolate brûlée was the perfect dessert. The views are phenomenal. Parking is a bit pricey $30 for the deck, but that was the only downside. Would love to go back!

I can’t give Edison the full 5 stars because they did not have their outdoor seating available on our visit to view the Gingerbread competition. I made my reservations on Open Table. The bar next door had cocktails and food and seating in the covered outdoor seating area where we waited until 2 pm for Edison while they kept their outdoor area closed. Our waiter was Great and made us feel welcomed. The food was good. The Grove Park Inn is iconic and the views are beautiful But we were denied a big part of the anticipated experience.

Celebrated our 8 year anniversary tonight. The dinner was fantastic and the views amazing. I would’ve given 5 stars all around, but to be quite honest and as it has been mentioned in other reviews. There is absolutely 0 excuse to have to pay $30 to park to eat dinner at one of the restaurants. This alone caused us to spend less money at the restaurant itself which in turn takes away from tip money for the servers/bartenders who are working their tails off. This needs to be reconsidered.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Experience Thanks to Kat

We had a fantastic evening at Edison at the Grove Park Inn, and Kat was truly the highlight of our visit. She was incredibly personable, attentive, and accommodating from start to finish. When she learned my wife and I were celebrating a belated wedding anniversary (missed due to an Army deployment to the Middle East), she went above and beyond by surprising us with a complimentary dessert. It was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture.

Kat made us feel genuinely cared for, gave great menu recommendations, and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere the entire evening. She is a superb server and the kind of person who makes a dining experience unforgettable. We hope to be served by her again!

My food was good. My husband didn’t like his so much. He only had a few bites. Atmosphere was wonderful. The waitress did a great job.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! Very attentive and super sweet! Great service! We had brussels sprouts which were so delicious and the Bavarian pretzel was very good as well. I had the grain bowl with blackened Salmon for dinner and my husband had the blackened trout. So tasty! Pecan trifle for dessert was full of flavor!
