Yes, the wait was about 2 hours, but it was absolutely worth it. From start to finish, everything was A1.
The food was outstanding. I had the banana foster French toast—perfectly caramelized, rich, and indulgent without being overly sweet. The crawfish mac & cheese was packed with flavor, creamy, and seasoned just right. The creamy grits were smooth and comforting, and the caramelized Brussels sprouts were cooked beautifully with a great balance of savory and sweet.
To drink, I had the passion fruit mimosa and the lemon drip mimosa—both refreshing, well-balanced, and definitely not watered down.
Service was excellent despite how busy it was, and the music was a whole vibe. It’s not a place to dance, but the playlist definitely set the mood and added to the experience.
Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about anything here. If you’re planning to come, I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid the long wait.

You must try this delicious, black owned brunch spot. First off, I loved the atmosphere…The 90’s R&B playing made me feel as though I was surrounded by my tribe! I also loved the artwork showcasing popular black artists. We tried the French toast flight which offered 4 delicious French Toast options and the Chicken & Waffles. The chicken was seasoned very well with sort of a Cajun type flavor that paired surprisingly well with the sweet flavors of the waffles and syrup. I hope to see this restaurant expand to additional states in the future!

The food was delicious! Both versions of shrimp were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fish was fried fresh and seasoned well. The seasoned potatoes resembled the flavor of a seafood boil, still yummy.
Service was to the point however, the full staff and drink refills(the blue lemonade was delicious) swayed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. The atmosphere was visually appealing however, I found myself requesting assistance with a vent that was directly above my table blowing direct cold air.
Overall, I’ll return and pay attention to my seating arrangement.

Okay! Wife and I were extremely excited about visiting this place as we saw a couple of videos about it on Tiktok! This place is not big, but it is also not small either. We went on a Saturday afternoon and of course, this place was packed. We had to wait for an hour to be seated. When we ordered our food, it came out within about 5 to 7 minutes. It all looked so good, such as the presentation and the different aromas as you can see, from the pictures that I’ve posted. To make a long story short, we will be going back again, because the food was amazing, the staff was very professional and the atmosphere was very nice! Everything about this place was worth the wait!

It was my first time visiting, I arrived about 1.5 hrs prior to closing. The food was amazing! It was plentiful, beautiful presentation and the taste was A1! The server was very knowledgeable as well as polite and friendly. We each tried a different flavor lemonade and they were all delicious! Not too sweet nor too sour, it was just right. Our servers that passed by were also attentive to our table. I was very impressed with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. The service and food alone was definitely above and beyond. I highly recommend this place and I will most definitely be returning as well as spreading the word. Keep up the exceptional job!

We came here for brunch. It was amazing. The shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had. Beautiful plating. The grits were super creamy and perfect. Shrimp were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Salmon and Avocado BLT was also delicious. Cooked perfectly. My grandbaby had the vanilla bean waffles with fruit and it didn’t even need syrup. Everything was delicious and perfect and I can’t wait to go back!!!!!

My wife and I were in San Antonio for a quick get away. We found this place on tik tok and google for best brunch in San Antonio. It did not disappoint. Everything was full of flavor and the portions…wow. What impressed me the most was that the owner was at the front not just walking around but serving drinks and he was the one that seated us. This place is great and I will be back to San Antonio and I’m definitely eating here again. The have an Andre 3000 picture on the wall….i want to take home with me

This review has been lingering in my mind for a hot minute. Let me say this is a hidden gem of a brunch spot. The service provided by Sabrina was impeccable and the food was top notch. The bananas foster French toast was incredible and I was even able to revive my leftovers (the plates are HUGE y’all!) in the air fryer at home. If you like fantastic food, superb service, and chill brunch vibes then Flavor Rich is a spot you do not want to miss!

This restaurant’s atmosphere was so inviting! The music was great, the seats were nice and soft, and I absolutely love the wall art of different music artists! The food was delicious (seasoned to perfection)!!! I had Swai fish, potatoes, and fruit! My friend had shrimp and grits! This was my first experience, but surely not the last, at Flavor Rich and I was very impressed. One of the owners, Franklin, welcomed us in and waited on us and he was very friendly and polite. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff is very nice and professional. I had the colossal shrimp with potatoes and the passion fruit lemonade.
