Don’t pay attention to these low reviews. Probably miserable people in real life or local competition. I almost didn’t go because of 3.4 rating but when I checked out their website I noticed this was their 6th location and I used to go to their Addison location which was very clean (unlike some Michoacana locations) and everything we ordered was always good. Popped in there today around 1230p and 2 of Hanover Park finest cops were also there getting a treat. My 2 kids decided on Nutella crepes with ice cream scoop and I got a 2 scoop in cup. Everything tasted amazing, the lady helping us out was very friendly and my boys couldn’t decide which ice cream to pick that she offered them to sample different ones. Overall this place provided 5 star service to my family and we will definitely be back since we live in area!!! Thank you

They are on the pricier side. I typically don’t like the other establishments either because of similar reasons. Also, they always stink so badly inside everyone that I’ve been to. I don’t understand it. Personally, there are much better places to shop for ice cream and shakes.

Hate to be the bad guy, but I didn’t enjoy my experience at all. I was excited for this place but I was disappointed. I ordered two milk shakes, but she put way too much milk in there, I would say more than half the cup. I asked for less milk more ice cream, in the end we got very watery “milkshakes” We ended up throwing them away, and felt annoyed we wasted 20$ dollars on mediocre milkshakes.
Also the music is way too loud in there, it’s very hard to hear or even talking to them makes me feel like i have to yell.
I hope to come back in the near future for a better experience.

First time today and honestly was disappointed. Ice cream is over priced and tastes like it was made in a lab with after taste that feels the same for all flavors. The sweet corn on a cup was not sweet at all. No taste, probably from a can. The worse is the price you pay for them and then they hit you with leaving nothing less than 18% in the pay screen for a tip. You would get more if you start at 10 or so. There is a way better quality and priced in West Chicago that you will love. This is not the place. It is clean and service was ok but that is it.

Very disappointing experience
The employee that i unfortunately had the displeasure of meeting was extremely rude. She seemed very annoyed to be helping me and when i would ask her a question she would not speak to me to answer, instead she would just tap on the glass or the products. Yet she was perfectly okay talking to her coworkers.
I don’t know if it’s standard for this Michoacana to serve small ice cream scoops or if it was just the employee’s doing, but she would get one scoop of ice cream and would purposely scrape some of it off to make the scoop even smaller. Comparing the amount of the product you are receiving, to what you’re paying, it is definitely not worth it.
The music is also so unbearably loud. It was difficult for me to hear my family standing next to me so i could get their order.
I definitely will not be returning again with the terrible customer service and the over priced items.

Tried this first time today. It is new place so it’s expected to be packed. We went early around 4 and was fine no line. Good service good food. Prices are a little high but what isn’t these days. Prices are no different from any other Michoacana or bakery that serves this type of food and desserts.

Every time I eat their corn or ice cream, our stomach gets really upset. Not just me, family members that have gone. I asked an employee if the corn was frozen and they said it is. Customer service was good, the results of eating the food not so much.
