I’m pretty sure that’s the Irish pub I don’t remember. Is that the best one in Savannah.?

1 star for food because the don’t serve it here. i’ve been consistently coming here for three years and i absolutely love it. as another downtown server i can appreciate a bar that is quiet and competent. i call it my old man bar. no tvs, only irish music, and skilled bartenders. i discovered my favorite irish whiskey here. as a young woman i would trust my drink with any of these bartenders, josh, tyler, dirk. if you want a no nonsense experience of an irish bar come to oconnells. you can have a great here. ( and don’t forget to tip your bartenders; order a paddy’s for me)

Stopped in for a glass of the black stuff and felt right at home. Fast and friendly service. Atmosphere was just what we needed to enjoy our drinks and unwind after a tour of the city. Thank you for a great experience!

What a fun place! We came here a couple years ago for a quick drink and then it turned out to be the last stop on our haunted pub crawl this year!

The vibe is fun and everyone was friendly and the drinks were A+.

Stopped in for a Guinness. Unfussy, small, they keep it simple, in a good way. Vibe was somewhat subdued but it was early. If you want somewhere to have a beer and a conversation in an unpretentious setting, give this place a shot.

Historic bar that was established in 1847. The bar itself is a beautiful gem with a unique, distinct bar. Covered from head to toe in Irish decor, this cozy little bar felt like the quintessential irish pub. It’s a beautiful place to experience and enjoy a few drinks while you soak up the atmosphere.

If you appreciate historic buildings or Irish pubs, this is a must when in Savannah. That being said, if you’re just looking for some cheap drinks this may not be your place. A bourbon and coke is $11 but I was happy to pay it because I felt like I was paying just as much for the experience… And it was well worth it if you enjoy these types of places.

1st time being in and definitely will be back when in town. Joshua was my bartender and he was so kind and went above and beyond. His personality is why I would come back in here for a drink sometime. Cute cozy inside
Smaller bar but worth it

Not a family place. Quite, local pub where people randomly join for “fiddle” sessions. Good place to relax, talk, and enjoy your favorite spirits. Very plain with simple seating.
