The porterhouse was really really good. It was the best steak I’ve ever had at a ‘chain restaurant.’ Even though it was a little thin, it was still 22oz. The asparagus and mashed potatoes were pretty decent too. And the bread! It was hard not to eat the whole loaf myself! I’ve been to Texas Roadhouse several times and I have to say my meal at Longhorn Steakhouse on this occasion was better. Nothing wrong with Roadhouse, but this is my opinion.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. I’ll be back to Longhorn soon.
Becky was our server and she was so friendly and attentive. She was a great server and did a wonderful job making sure we had a good dining experience.
Our food was received in a timely manor. Pretty normal wait time.
We came in around 3:25pm so that may also have played a part in our good experience.
For food we got the sirloin shrimp combo. I am really picky about how my steak tastes and I’ve got to say it was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. l enjoyed the shrimp, rice and baked potato. The dragon fruit margarita was also well made.
The only thing I have to say is my mushrooms were insanely salty as were the French fries. I honestly love salt so it didn’t bother me too much, but for some people that could make them both inedible.
Over all a wonderful experience, and it was nice to try something new!!

My server, Becky S., was also very pleasant and did a good job explaining the menu selections and options. The bread service looked fantastic and tasted just as good, definitely a strong start to the meal.
I ordered the salad, which came with a $1.99 upcharge. The salad itself was fairly basic and not particularly memorable, but the raspberry vinaigrette dressing was excellent and really carried the dish.
While dining, I was seated near the server station where an NRO-certified trainer was chatting with two staff members. The conversation went on for my entire meal and was somewhat distracting. I’m an old-school diner, if there’s time to lean, there’s time to clean.
My steak arrived quickly and smelled great. The first bite was good, though it was noticeably heavy on pepper. Becky did mention beforehand that the steak would be spice-forward, which I appreciated. However, the seasoning ended up being quite aggressive. The pepper was very strong and the sea salt on the baked potato was also applied a bit heavily. By the end of the meal, my mouth was actually burning slightly from the combined pepper and salt.
The baked potato itself also seemed a bit small compared to what I would normally expect with a steak dinner.
Another small distraction was overhearing what sounded like a regional manager or trainer coaching staff nearby, including a comment along the lines of “all you need to do is throw in five extra potatoes” and “you don’t want me standing over you.” It didn’t ruin the meal, but it did take away from the relaxed restaurant atmosphere.
Overall, the service from Becky S. and the welcoming staff made for a good first experience. The bread and dressing were highlights. The main opportunity for improvement would be dialing back the seasoning on the steak and potato, and keeping staff conversations a bit more out of the dining room.
Since this location is brand new and had only been open for about 2 days it’s completely understandable that there might be small hiccups here and there. What truly stood out to me was how the team handled everything. When there was a minor mistake with my meal, it was taken care of quickly and professionally without hesitation.
I especially want to thank Toni and the rest of the staff for making sure I felt welcomed, valued, and well taken care of throughout my visit. Their positive attitudes and attention to detail made the entire experience enjoyable.
Overall, my first visit was a great one, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this location for great service and a welcoming atmosphere!
My meal did not taste good and there seems to be issues going on with the staff/management team. Its their first week open so I won’t put everything that occurred on blast yet. I believe in second chances so I’ll try again in a few months if they’re still in business and report any improvements
Upon arrival, we were brought to a table while holding two small children, only to stand awkwardly in the middle of the dining room while staff decided to change the setup from a six-top to a four-top. This is something that should be prepared before seating guests, especially families with young children.
Our server, Delilah (I believe), was difficult to locate throughout the meal and hard to hear when she did stop by. We ordered fries immediately along with drinks since we had just come from swim class with two hungry kids. Those fries took 17 minutes to arrive, leaving us with nothing for our children while we waited.
Food timing continued to be a major issue. After waiting over 15 minutes, I had to ask a staff member who appeared to be assisting or training for help checking on the fries. After 38 minutes, our appetizer arrived incorrectly, we ordered spinach and artichoke dip but received bacon cheese fries instead. I politely asked that the item be taken back and canceled since our children were already losing patience.
Despite canceling the appetizer multiple times with both our server and food runners, we were repeatedly told it was still being prepared. Even after requesting three separate times that it not be made and that our entrées simply be sent out, the artichoke dip still arrived nearly an hour into our visit.
At around the 50-minute mark, our children’s mac and cheese finally came out. After waiting another 10 minutes with no entrées, the canceled appetizer was delivered again. At that point, we were exhausted and ready to leave. The manager who delivered it was very kind and offered to remove it from the bill, which we appreciated, but we declined keeping it as we simply wanted to go home.
After 1 hour and 15 minutes, our children were full and tired, and we ultimately requested all entrées to be boxed to go. Unfortunately, we live 30 minutes away, and after spending over an hour and a half in the restaurant without receiving our meals properly, the food was cold by the time we arrived home and ultimately went in the trash. My husband also realized his steak temperature was never confirmed and it was cooked medium instead of rare.
I do want to recognize that the gentleman who dropped off the check and Toni, who was walking the dining room checking on guests, were both extremely kind and professional. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and opening day challenges are understandable, however, the overall execution made the experience not worth the time or money spent.
We truly hope operations improve, as we were excited to have this location open in the area. Not sure we will be back though
