My better half order the BBQ chicken banh mi but received BBQ pork. Still enjoyable although a meat heavy experience – we tend to prefer a higher salad content.
The rice paper rolls were elite. Massive and phenomenal value at $7.40 for two. I tried the prawn and BBQ chicken, both delicious and with a great balance of ingredients. I also loved that they were served with nuoc nam!
Ordered the rare beef pho and brisket pho, but the rare beef pho was sold out. The lovely owner recommended the brisket pho saying that it’s very good. We can confirm that the brisket pho was indeed 10/10. Best pho we have had so far in Melbourne. The best part is they do not cook using MSG (which is so rare these days)
Had a nice chat with the owner, you can tell that she is really passionate about cooking and serving customers! ❤️
PS server spent the time leaving a message on my paper bag so worth a mention
I ordered a banh mi and pho. Both were good, but the banh mi completely won me over — the bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Absolutely delicious. The pho was nice too, but my heart belongs to that banh mi.
The prices were great — around $10.50 for the banh mi and $18.50 for a big bowl of pho. For the portion sizes, it’s definitely worth it.
Satisfied? Definitely. I’ll be coming back for the pork roast and crackling banh mi for sure
I also had a Vietnamese iced coffee, which was perfectly brewed—bold, strong, and sweetened just enough to enhance the flavour without overpowering it. It’s the kind of coffee that lingers in the best way.
Beyond the food, the service was warm and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. The staff were attentive and genuinely hospitable, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining atmosphere. If you’re after high-quality Vietnamese food in Williamstown, Miss La’s Kitchen is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
The owner was really nice, super friendly and happy to help with anything. I read a comment saying she asked people to leave reviews. Honestly, I didn’t feel it was pushy at all. She asked us too, but in a very gentle way. I understand that restaurants rely a lot on Google reviews, so don’t take it the wrong way.
Overall, I definitely recommend coming here if you like pho that’s savory and tasty, not too sweet 🙂
