It’s a bar, first and foremost.
That’s where all the action was.
Everyone hanging out, talking, laughing and playing a friendly game…seemed like a nice place to be “where every body knows your name” type of thing.
Decor? Meh.
Menu? Meh.
It was fine. We came here for supper.
Wasn’t super impressed with the “pizza burger” (maybe should have had some tomato sauce on it?) but it was fine.
Kinda like a breaded chicken burger with a slice of mozza kraft single.
Nothing wrong with that.
It’s a “saloon”. Says so in the name. You don’t expect fancy.
Spent $35 USD for 2 beers & 2 pizza burgers with potato salad.

This is a family friendly bar/restaurant. I have no complaints about the food itself as it was delicious and the cost wasn’t excessive however the service & atmosphere leave something to be desired. The entryway smelled like pot upon entering but luckily didn’t extend further indoors. The restaurant itself was dingy and dirty with low light and ripped up seats. Our waitress not only took over 20 minutes to wait on us but forgot to bring multiple drinks and messed up the orders repeatedly. If it had been busy this would have been understandable. It was not. The only redeeming quality of this place was the food itself.

This place makes the perfect cheeseburgers! I mean I’ve been staying here for two weeks and have sampled almost all of them by now and every single one every single time is delicious. I mean picture the cheeseburger that is always portrayed in every movie as the perfect diner burger and thats what your going to get 10/5 stars ! Also very good prices for total happiness

Stopped here for dinner and a drink after a day of pheasant hunting.
Bartender was greeting everyone with a big smile, serving cold beers and cocktails with lighting speed.
It is definitely a local bar but I never felt like an outside and that they did not need my business that sometimes happens in small towns.
Food was good, fast, hot and cooked extremely well.
I will for sure stop back again if I am in the area.

GOLD STARS!!! This was an amazing find! The folks in Luverne, MN may not know how lucky they are. This place is perfect. Perfect atmosphere, perfect menu, perfect food, and perfect service. The cook is amazing, one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. Clean, cozy and comfortable. I will definitely be returning.

Had a patty melt and wife had a Philly cheese steak. Both were good and came out fast. Wait staff was friendly. This is a classic roadhouse sort of bar/grill with both types of music. Country and western.

Came in with 23 people unannounced for lunch and was served in the most incredible quick and friendly time I have ever seen. I had the beef chislic and it was the most tender I have ever had. Hats off to the entire staff for the excellent service.

Hometown bar feel. Good food. We shared a bison burger and chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Both came with chips (old dutch ripple – Where’s the top-the-tater?!). Server was great! When we ordered she gathered that we were going to share and she asked if we wanted them cut in half. She went one step farther and actually put a half of each on both plates! ❤️
