By the water!! I recently visited this Mexican bar in Virginia Beach and overall had a really good experience. The atmosphere had great energy — good music, a lively crowd, and that fun vibe you want when you’re out with friends. The drinks were solid, especially the margaritas, and the bartenders were friendly and working hard to keep up with the rush.
The food had great flavor and you can tell they’re aiming to deliver an authentic Mexican bar experience. With just a little more consistency and attention to detail, this place could easily be one of the top spots in the area.
I truly hope the bar continues to grow and improve because it has a lot of potential. With a few small adjustments in service speed and organization during busy hours, it could go from good to amazing. I’ll definitely give it another visit and look forward to seeing it get even better.

Visited this afternoon while I was in town for a late birthday vacay and Daniel and all the service staff were amazing. I had the fried relleno with tinga on the side and a salsa flight and it was perfect. Drinks and service on point. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town and recommend to everyone!

I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in the US and I’d have to say this is one of my favorites! The workers are very friendly and seem to be lovely people. The food was well cooked and flavorful, and the drinks were fantastic as well! Genevieve is a wonderful bartender and made my experience very pleasant. Will definitely return!

I came across this great Mexican restaurant as I was strolling the Virginia Beach boardwalk. The 1st night I had a couple beers,they were ice cold & awesome.The bartender was great & the atmosphere relaxing.Today I went in for tacos for lunch & they were great The owner was very friendly,thanks.when visiting Va Beach this is a great place.

If you’re looking for an upscale yet still relaxed vibe con excellent service y delicious, AUTHENTIC cuisine… this es the place! Bartender, Daniel, is the perfect balance of professional maestro of all things grub/spirits while making you feel like fam. Vegetarian fave so far is the Sweet Potato Street Tacos with a side of frijoles! So yummy… definitely a new regular spot for this very particular sojourner!

The food was good, presentation wasn’t the best, almost as if they tossed it into the container from 5 feet away. But it was very tasty, especially the shrimp tacos. Bartender was pretty curt, even though the night seemed very slow.

I have visited many places and none have been quite as good as this. Our waitress Kara was absolutely amazing. She was the bartender and was waiting tables but never once did we feel like she got too busy and forgot about us. The food was hands down the best. ACP is my go to at any Mexican restaurant but this one was like no other. They use chicken thighs instead of breast. I added peppers and onions to mine. The flavors were so good. I asked Kara what her favorite drink was and she said the watermelon margarita so I tried that and it was great. I then tried the flight of margaritas and they were so delicious! The restaurant is super cute and the vibe is on point. We felt like we were regulars and we have never once been here. We live three hours away and I will drive back again just for the food and service! 100/10 recommend it here!

Birria tacos were pretty good, but the Chicken Tinga tacos looked extremely unappealing. My friend ordered the Chicken Tinga tacos without sour cream, but the tacos arrived with sour cream. When the friend told the waiter that wasn’t the order, the waiter said there was nothing they could do—the restaurant group apparently charges the wait staff for anything not paid for by the customer including incorrect orders. The group also treats their employees terribly.

Service could be better.. super slow..
More normal standard seating required at the front of the restaurant (all of them were high chairs). Would have preferred to sit there closer to road view and live music ….tough to sit on high chairs when u are with a kid..
