Burgers were good, I’m glad they’ve reopened this place. I heard the shrimp & fish plates are good but they only have on Friday night (I think that’s what they said)… they should have them all the time & their probably have more business. IMO

I give it a zero star. The food was very unappetizing. The shrimp had no taste and the ribs were boiled hard. It was a struggle pulling the meat off the bone of the rib. When I first walked in the place was dark and my seat was sticky. I got a lemonade and it was not sweet at all. There was also a bug in my lemonade and when I told the waitress..she told me it was some trash in it, but I’m literally looking at the bug with legs. She then leaves and comes back with a new one telling me her bad and that it was a mosquito. The door also fell down. Honestly this place isn’t the best..the food is very overpriced for the food to taste the way it did. Even putting sauce on top of the food didn’t make anything taste better. The brisket was also tough and hard to chew. The shrimp tasted old like it had been recooked over and over and it was a lot of knats flying around in the kitchen. The place is VERY unsanitary. This place is called lakeview catfish because the food is catfishing you ! PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE 110 dollars was spent for this for just look at this rib.

Today was my husband’s and mine first time here today. The building was rustic, clean and cozy, food was excellent… But the highlight of our meal was our server Bobby’s wonderful service! My husband and I are close to 50, and we have NEVER had better service than Bobby’s friendly and intuitive service. We are DEFINITELY coming back. All the staff was friendly, and I have never left a meal with such peace and happy contentment. Thank you, Lakeview Catfish Restaurant!!!

I went here on Saturday night and the service was very quick and friendly. The blackened shrimp tacos were very good. They have a sweet slaw and cabbage (next time I’ll ask for no cabbage because that was a little much). The sweet tea was good.

This is a relaxed, reliable and affordable restaurant that has serving the area for ages. We are from Pennsylvania and we come here with friends at two times when we visit – no arm twisting needed. Great service, reasonable prices for what you get and fresh, hot food. My husband loves catfish so he gets all you can eat. I always get a dinner but both are large portions. We are going back tonight for the third time before we leave for home. I can’t wait.

The food and the Manger was HORRIBLE!!! Buffet HORRIBLE!!! Now if you want to throw away money then this is the place to go. They made 3 to 400.00 on my group today and yes I’m not happy. It’s a shame that Lakeview’s name has gone down to nothing.

First of all I did not miss understand I know what I was told and secondly you WERE rude. I was told that in order to get the party special we had to have 8 to get the All You Can Eat not that everybody in the party would have to order the All You Can Eat. If that was the case why did she tell me that we can could also order off the menu as well as eat the buffet. Now I didn’t mention we were told that we could have coleslaw whichvwe are still waiting for after asking for it twice. AND that we got 6 biscuits and was told that’s all we was getting because there were not anymore. What was that? AND, I was told you had no baked potatoes or potato salad and that she didn’t know why that was even on the menu. I said what I said because the food taste terrible and you were terrible. I don’t care what your nice nasty reply said.

Decided to hold our office Christmas party here and was not disappointed. They had a lot of parties scheduled on that day so when I arrived a little early to decorate I had to wait. Got to the nice big room they were putting us in and it had plenty of seating for everyone. The service and the food were both great and the office absolutely loved both. Had a great time and will be holding our party there again and also going to eat without a party.

New management. Great friendly service and the food gets better each time we go. Love their fried catfish. They have an all you can eat option but usually the normal meal is plenty. It comes with 5 pieces of fish, a side (I like the baked potato)Coleslaw and warm biscuits. Keep it up guys and the place will be lined out the door.
