I was in baton rouge for the day and needed a place to stop for a bite. I am very fond of Greek and Lebanese food and was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. I was happy with the prices as well. In fact I had 2 meals out of my lunch because the portions were very generous. I only wish I lived in Baton Rouge because this would be a favorite place of mine.

I like the food it is delicious! It’s hot made to order with fresh ingredients. Not mention healthy! However, the service is poor I was not greeted upon entry. The customers that came in after me were acknowledged and seated before me. I was basically ignored until I spoke up and said can I please order. The servers were not attentive or pleasant. I ordered and paid for my food, she didn’t even let me know how long it would take for my food to be prepared, before she just walked off. The aesthetics of the restaurant is very rich in culture, it gives the experience of sitting in another country. I enjoy their food and will be back but the service needs to be addressed.

Seems like a really great spot to sit down and eat. Friendly accommodating service, nice place, but the food didn’t hold up well to go. The eggplant got super soggy, as did the fries. The grape leaves were falling apart, and the falafel was just ok. I could tell that the food would have been much better if I was eating at the restaurant but unfortunately I have to judge it based on my experience.

I came here with my brother after seeing some very positive reviews. We both got the combo chicken shawarma and gyros plate and all the things I read online were true! It was some of the best mediterrenean food I’ve ever had and this was complimented by the great service we received. The portion sizes were huge and the food was authentic and delicious! The restaurant is located in a nice spot with a good atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming here again perhaps with some more family.

This is a great restaurant. If you can get the vegetable platter and still say that, it is a good restaurant. I got the vegetable platter and it was awesome. I find that each Greek restaurant is very different from the next, but Serop’s Cafe is top notch. The lunch menu has nice options at a good price. We were super happy with our meal.

This place was such a good find on our trip. We ordered lamb shank, meat grape leaves, fried cheese, kebbeh, meat pie, falafel, and combo plate (chicken & gyro). Not one thing was bad. It was all delicious and full of flavor. Definitely recommend stopping in and trying anything on their menu.

The restaurant is beautifully designed. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The service was nice and the food arrived quickly. Included in this post, in addition to the pictures of the restaurant, are pictures of the menu and pictures of the chicken shawarma plates, as well as, the salad. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, it has a pretty good range of dishes. When I return, I will venture out and try other options on the menu, then I will update.

The food was spectacular and the our server was just lovely. It was a bit chili in the restaurant so we were glad we had a sweater and sweatshirt. Overall, it was a great place to eat during our travels.

We have ordered from here before and it was good. However, on Monday when I ordered to go I was not told they were having a private party there. When I went to pick up my food I was told they were out of what I had ordered. I choose another dish. When I got home I notice the portions were smaller and the chicken undercooked. They apparently ran out of food with the many guests that were there. I wish I had been told they were have a private party and I could have gone somewhere else. My husband and I were very disappointed! Not sure if we will be back.
