Decent place. Plenty of tvs. Friendly staff. The layout has everyone a little squeezed in. But they cic what they could with the space they have. The food was delicious, a little pricey but still delicious. They were a little heavy-handed on the Buffalo sauce. So you’ll love it if you like things extra hot. Drinks were ok. We will definitely give it another try.

Great bar! The location is great for getting off the train and you want a drink/food! I’ll start with the positives….the burger was PERFECTION! The wings were about a 7/10 missing flavor. The problems I had were no good drink specials and it seems more like a “locals” bar so felt out of place at different moments. Still great bar!

This place is really good. The menu was full of so many things I wanted to try. I went with the Train Wreck and the Pretzel. Both were awesome and very affordable. The Meatballs, Italian Sausage, and Beef on the Train Wreck were so tasty. I will definitely be back to try more of their food. The kids also enjoyed the Chicken Tenders that were also very well priced.

I ordered the bacon blueburger and it was cooked just right, medium! You can’t go wrong because all of their entrees are delicious. I gave it 4 stars for Atmosphere only because some times it can get very loud. A group of us go there once a month and have never been disappointed and the service is always good.

Went with family. Walked in, place was only at 30% full or so. Walked in and was told to sit outside (self seating) so we did. Waited outside for about 20min. Nobody would serve our table. Waiters even walked past us. It wasnt busy either. This was extremely shocking. I could not explain why we would be treated like this…essentially ignored.
Edit: I have updated this review from 1 star to 3 stars simply because I do not want to be responsible for business loss. To be honest the food looked really good and the outside seating was nice/relaxing. I understand that mistakes happen and I hope that this was simply a mistake and/or an oversight on that day. I hope to give Union Bar a second chance when I visit Chicago again. I live out of town and only visit a few times a year.

Stopped in for a casual bite to eat while traveling. Had the chicken wings and they were awesome. Only had half of the wings because. Wanted to try their Italian Beef Sandwich. Had the sandwich with hot peppers and cheese. Definitely coming back as a chill spot to watch sports and grab dinner.

Good stop before a concert at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. Nice smaller outdoor seating area.
