I always came here for their dim sum. This time I wanted to dry some authentic Cantonese food for dinner. We walked in around 7pm and were seated immediately. Service was great. We ordered fillet mignon with mixed mushrooms, sizzling pork ribs, salt&pepper prawn, and beef chow fun. It didn’t disappoint us. Food was very tasty! The beef with mushrooms was everyone’s favorite. We’ll definitely come back!

Tried this place recently and loved it! We ordered the shrimp and pork dumplings, crispy chicken, and tofu — everything was tasty and well-seasoned. The crab puffs were the highlight and so fresh. They even serve complimentary tea, which was such a nice surprise. It’s quiet inside with lots of seating, perfect for a relaxed meal. I’ll definitely be back!

This place gets crowded, but it’s totally worth it .

Really enjoyed our visit here! We had the pepper shrimp, shrimp and pork dumplings, crispy chicken, tofu, and crab puffs — all delicious. The space is large and comfortable with private party rooms, great for big gatherings. The complimentary tea and calm atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for family dinners or group celebrations!

First time finally trying this spot after hearing about for ages. We came for dinner so the dim sum service wasn’t running, but we still had awesome dishes like sizzling beef and spicy garlic chicken. We were still able to order a few things from the dim sum menu like the shumai and shrimp hargow, which were some of the biggest and tastiest dumplings I’ve had in a while. Service was quick and friendly, and the decor was quite lovely. Can’t wait to return!

Not an excellent first experience here. This place felt like any other dim sum restaurant with your standard fair of selections. A little pricey for what is offered. We came in the middle of the day when the restaurant was empty, and expected good service, however the staff could be a little more courteous. They come off as a little rude and seem to rush you to order. They even got our order wrong. Did not make me feel welcome, like I was bothering them or something.
Ordered Salt and Pepper Porkchop, Chow Mein, and Siu Mai.
Siu Mai was good, but nothing special.
Salt and pepper porkchop was a little salty, only tasted good because of the MSG and the greasiness.
We originally ordered the beef Chow Mein, but the waitress gave us the wrong order and got Chow Fun instead. That dish was also very oily.
I don’t understand the hype around this place, would rather go to a different dim sum restaurant.

I’ve always been curious about Excellent Cuisine, a popular dim sum spot, and finally decided to try it after my wife expressed her eagerness to visit. We arrived just after they opened, and while only about half of the dim sum menu was available at that time, what we did order was quite tasty.
Among the dishes we tried, my favorites were the cold jellyfish salad, chive and shrimp dumplings, and the shrimp and pork shumai. Each dish was packed with flavor and truly hit the spot. The egg drop soup was a bit lackluster, though my kids enjoyed it.
The atmosphere was somewhat dreary, perhaps because it wasn’t busy at the time, and the waitresses lacked energy and friendliness. However, the quality of the food makes a return visit likely in the future.
Overall, despite a few drawbacks, Excellent Cuisine offers delicious dim sum that is worth checking out, especially if you visit during peak hours when more menu options are available.
