One star for the service. Other than being greeted in the beginning, it’s like we had the worst servers. I always tip… I did not leave a tip for them. We had to get up and go to the front to ask for everything we needed or try to flag someone down. And it’s not like they weren’t on the floor! It had good online reviews but unfortunately, I can’t echo them. The summer rolls were super bland and you wouldn’t be able to give them to me for free ever again. Highly disappointing! The fried rice was… different. It had a sweet taste to it that was tantalizing, so if I ever went back, I’d get that. The spicy vegetable vegan chicken dish was OK too. We waited a long time for our order to be taken as well as served and there weren’t many people in there.

This has been one of my favorite places for years. Tonight I had to do a DoorDash order because I wasn’t able to drive there and the food was old and disgusting. The first time ever that this has happened, but it is also the first time I’ve ever ordered DoorDash from them. I normally dine in. I am very disappointed and what they sent me, especially with the prices that I paid. I fear that this could cause them to lose me as a faithful customer. The shrimp were fried so hard that they were not edible and the rice was dry and unseasoned. It also tasted very old.

One of the best Vietnamese places around. It’s a local favorite for a reason. The egg rolls are not to be passed up, and the bahn mis are flavorful and delicious as well. The rice plates are huge and always leave leftovers or are shareable. I also really like that the iced coffee doesn’t come insanely sweet automatically. It’s half evaporated milk half sweetened condensed unless you specify otherwise, and you get a stronger and better coffee for it.

This is most definitely one of the better Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to lately in the East Bay. Not only is the food well prepared and delicious, the prices are very reasonable. The beef pho noodle soup stock was flavorful, and the grilled pork bahn mi sandwich’s were great! If there was a weakness, the Vietnamese iced coffee was good but could be better. Our overall impression was we would most certainly come back.

Plenty of seating. Clean. Fast service. Vermicelli bowl had a lot of fresh veggies. Shrimp was a bit over grilled but flavorful. Their lemongrass chicken has a very strong soy sauce marinade. Rice was jasmine not broken. Vietnamese coffee was strong and not too sweet.

This is a great Vietnamese Restaurant. The food is good and the portions are generous. The service is polite and prompt. The atmosphere is comfortable. We were all happy with our meals and took home what we could not finish.

The food is AMAZING! And our server came by within a minute of arriving, to take our order. Not only was that quick but the food was ready within 5 minutes of ordering. I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m in the Richmond area.

I’m surprised I’ve never written a review before. I have been coming here regularly for 7 or 8 years.
The food has always been outstanding. I really love their Vietnamese Crispy Pork & Shrimp Pancake, and many of the dishes with Grilled Pork. These days, I usually end up getting the same dish every time: #78 (Stir Fried Shrimp w. Vegetables, Bell Pepper & Jalapeño over White Rice) with extra chicken. It’s really delicious. And each time, I’m blown away by the quantity. The photo shows my leftovers! One full meal there, at least.
Another thing I love to do is take home a container of just grilled pork. Then I use it to complement my meals at home for a few days.
The service is always great too. Everyone is really warm and friendly.
Parking is difficult in front of the restaurant (and I hope I do not come to regret sharing this little tip!) you will always find a spot on Wilson, behind the Wendy’s.

The pho was both flavorful and filling. Although the restaurant was initially full when I arrived, there was plenty of seating available. I particularly appreciated that each table was equipped with condiments.
