I drove here after seeing their yummy food post on Facebook. As I walked through the door, Charlie, the waitstaff, greeted me; I sat down at the table of my choice. I enjoyed interacting with Charlie, cordial and fun to chat with. He custom-made my Durian drink just the way I requested, less sweet.

Ordered:
-Vietnam Roast Veal $22.99 (not listed on menu)- totally worth the drive. However, some of the pieces of the veal were a bit chewy. Shrimp paste dipping sauce was perfect for the dish.
-Durian shake $6- made with a combo of powder and real fruit. I didn’t smell the aroma of the fruit : (

I had egg rolls samples- they were filled with chunky meat. Tasty and crunchy delicious. Definitely a good dish for an appetizer.

Note:
They are in the process of updating their menu. Don’t forget to scan the food pics on TV screen to avoid missing out dishes you might like.

The service here is always so warm and welcoming! This is the second time my little family has come, and we were greeted just like family. I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant at first after reading some of the bad reviews, but our experience was completely different. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and full of smiles — their small gestures really touched my heart.

After a long, tiring day, being able to enjoy a simple dinner with my husband and child in such a caring atmosphere meant a lot. As for the food, I think it really depends on personal taste, but for me, everything was lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Might be a newly started up business by a Vietnamese guy! Full of Vietnamese dishes that stick on the more traditional and street style only Viet-Vietnamese knows. The dishes might need more work on taste and flavor to be making a hit on the palate and the costumers! Service was slow but as expected because only two people serviced and one cook!

It was my first time here, and they surprised me with their food. Their Pho is top-notch here in San Diego. It tastes homemade, unlike other restaurants; it’s flavorful and takes me back to Vietnamese street food pho.

Personally, the food was alright. But you should try snail dishes, I think they make it delicious here! Plus, their customer service is amazing! Very nice staff. They even let us sing karaoke. Have a lovely time there with a pretty reasonable price.

Funky little hole in the wall with great food. It’s super small with charm and the best lemongrass chicken my partner has ever had along with the delicious caramelized pepper pork served in clay pots. The passionfruit boba tasted like getting lilikoi fresh from Hawaii, even had to spit the seeds out. This was leaps and bounds better than all the other local Vietnamese spots we have tried that are more popular. Will be back.

You don’t need to go to a fancy place all the time to enjoy food. Some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and the food is pretty authentic here. They got the AC fixed too so that’s a plus. All I’d say is the menu is a bit odd but it’s not too difficult to figure it out. Portions are plentiful and the background music is a nice touch.

Sad because I really wanted to try a boba from this place and when me and my friend walked in asking about their drinks he got mad saying we don’t have any in his language (I’m assuming) but then my friend sees he’s drinking one so she points to his drink so he can understand because he’s speaking Vietnamese and no English at all
Right. So my friend points at his drink and he hits her in her knuckles with his phone hard so she smacked his phone out his hand and he got upset and looked for something to hit us with besides throwing his phone… I didn’t have my phone with me at the time this all happened so I went back to my car and grabbed my phone so I can take a picture of this employee and when I entered he looked all around for stuff he can throw at me and hit me with… ALL BECAUSE WE WANTED A DRINK !!!!!!!!! Who OWNS THIS PLACE???? Why was he the only one there ????? I felt attacked and I’m very very upset this happened to me and my friend !!!!!!! I have a video of him acting very hostile like he was going to hit me… I’ll never go back there again what the heck
