I was a food critic for over 20 years .
This Chinese cuisine here in Rio Grande has especially tasty food. They are kind people that run this business and have a very clean store . Family owned and I have never been disappointed in 7 years coming here. I have tried the rest down and around within 5 miles and not other comes close ! Thanks Jenny

BEWARE- ONLINE PRICING IS EXTREMELY HIGH! Singapore mai fun $20.99 v $14.99 in the store. Scallion pancakes (literally soaked in grease) $11.99 v $7.99 in store. Quart of wonton soup $10.99 v $8.15 in store. Quart of pork fried rice $15.50 v $11.99 in store. Over $16 more. My daughter ordered online so I could pick up on my way home.
When I called about the huge price difference they were indifferent and hung up. This price difference is over and above offsetting their costs.

Wasted $70 on the worst food. Dry, tasteless, greasy. This looks more like Spanish rice than Chinese rice and it was hard . Super disappointed

Cheap. Fast. Delicious. Hot. Open for takeout during COVID-19. September 2020.
I ordered the combo platter: pork fried rice, egg roll and general tso chicken. Portions were enough for lunch the next day. All in all, value for the money ($11).
I also liked that they let you grab the utensils that you needed instead of putting all of them in your order.

Every time I come here the food is great. It is a smaller chinese takeout so I know when things are really busy it can be challenging. No grease on the egg roll and my pork egg foo young was great.

We spent over $50 for 2 Combination meals and dumplings. WORST FOOD EVER!!!! The dumplings weren’t cooked, the cashew chicken was 75% broccoli stem, only 5 cashews, and the general tso chicken was coated in goo, and only 6 pieces of chicken. Plus the combo platter was 80% yellow rice. Had we not just driven 2 hours, I would have returned it.

Not great. Ordered and delivered quickly with DoorDash. Shrimp with hot garlic sauce was bland, and the shrimps were not deveined. Vegetables were hard. Pricey at $21. Scallion pancakes are thin and the greasiest I’ve ever seen. $65 delivered with a soda for dinner entree and scallion pancakes with an orange soda (!)

There was a small silver lining because the fried shrimp was pretty good other than that the food was tasteless. Scallion pancake tasted like soggy fried crisp, the boneless spare ribs actually had no taste at all. The establishment forgot my steamed broccoli so I cannot comment on that. The best thing we ordered was the appetizer sampler, I would give an 8/10 for that. Wound up ordering from Taco Bell and throwing out the rest after it was all said and done.

I’ll never know. First there menu price said $6.25 for lunch special but went to charge me $10.55 then said I had to do minimum $15 for credit card. Place had no business so to turn people away is stupid.
