I love Panda Express but this location makes me not want to come to this restaurant at all. The service is slow and not customer friendly, and instead of chow mein you receive scrapes in your plate and eyelash in your chicken.

Serious safety issue found in my order!!

I ordered from the Panda Express on Airport Blvd in Pensacola on 10/20/25. After finishing my meal, I discovered a small METAL shard at the bottom of the Styrofoam container (it looked like it could be from a chafing pan or similar kitchen equipment). I immediately tried calling the restaurant to report this so the team could check their equipment and food line, but no one answered.

Food safety issues can happen anywhere, but responsiveness matters. I’m posting this so management is aware and can inspect equipment, retrain staff on container checks, and improve phone responsiveness. Zero stars for this experience.

The customer service was not good at all. I placed a mobile order and when I got home I realized that they had given us two orange chicken plates rather than one orange chicken plate and one mushroom chicken plate. I called and the woman on the phone said that “she was sure that she put mushroom chicken” but I could bring the wrong order back and get the right food. When I brought the plate back she tried telling me that the food we left at home was mushroom chicken, she gave me the right food but then kept saying that she did put mushroom chicken and started trying to argue about it with me, asking if the other boxes had zucchini and saying they were almost out of mushrooms so we got the mushroom chicken there just wasn’t much mushroom. hey so i think i know the difference between deep fried orange chicken and pan fried chicken with mushrooms and zucchini. Not once did the employee say sorry for the wrong order, just argued.

This is not the first time i have had a bad experience, I once ordered sesame chicken and when I got home I realized that they had given me walnut shrimp. I am ALLERGIC. I called and no one answered, I emailed corporate and no one answered. I never got a refund or other food that I could actually eat. So I guess the only way to get the right food is going back to the store and argue with the employees about it.

I waited until my 3rd visit @ this location to write this review. Every visit they have been out of nearly all the menu items. Chicken and Mushroom is my favorite. This was not available all 3 visits. Whomever, is ordering the supplies is awful at their job. One of the most popular items, never available? Each visit was @ different times of the day and day of the week. I will not return. 3 strikes!!

I ordered one plate with rice and orange chicken through the drive-thru. When I got to the window, I was told the total was $24, which seemed high for one meal. After paying and checking the receipt, I realized I was charged for two plates, but only received one in the bag.
I went inside to get this fixed and waited about 20 minutes just to be told the charge would be refunded in 1-3 business days via email?? I never received the refund.
Very disappointing experience.
Overcharged, wasted time, and no follow-through on the refund.

Incredibly rude staff!!! They are so disrespectful in that drive through! I gave them my order and the woman aggressively repeated it back and also had my order wrong. I just said “oh yeah that’s not right, I think you’re going to fast.” She kept cutting me off when I’d tell her what sides I wanted. I would barely be finished with my words before she’d ask me another question. Once again, she relayed my order that was wrong… When I told her my order was still wrong, she responded to me with the “Are you okay?!!!” “Alright okay whatever!” Very loudly like I was doing something wrong. I find that gross and disgusting. Why does she think she can talk to people this way?? What type of question is that and why are you even talking to me like that as a paying customer???

Absolutely horrible. Waited for 45 minutes to get the food. Employees move with no urgency. All they do is say one minute. Everyone worker here needs to be fired and they need all new people in here stay far away

I’m so sad! I’m not sure what happened. After years of being great panda express, this location is battling it out with Gulf Breeze for the worst panda express in the nation. Don’t get me wrong, the staff is wonderful! Always super friendly and kind people! The food has been just short of inedible the last three times I’ve been here. Sometimes completely charred black, sometimes it is seriously underdone and today it is nearly tasteless. I really hope that quality control can be done here and save this location.
