We had the most delicious meal at 1932 Reserve tonight. Service was excellent, the flavors were incredible and our drinks were wonderful. We had a great view on the patio and enjoyed the entire experience. We will definitely be back. We loved both of our dishes. The sauce with the grits was so smooth and creamy and offered a fantastic compliment to the shrimp and garlic. My husband’s duck had all the rich flavors you could hope for, and the grilled carrots had a deep smokey flavor that I loved. You could tell the chefs took pride in each dish they served. Well done! Favorite meal in the LOTO area so far for me. Great date night option.

Overall we had a very nice experience. The food was good and service was also great. The menu and specials really seemed like they were almost trying just a little too hard though. Too many flavors combined and too much frill… especially given the atmosphere. I’d go back but not soon.

We reserved this as we thought the menu and ambiance looked great. We had an 8:30 pm reservation as it was Valentine’s Day and that is all that was left. The woman I spoke with to make the reservation acted as if I was bothering her and she was short and rude.We arrived right at 8:30. I went to the hostess and let them know we had a reservation. It was a young woman and what looked to be an older woman server. They looked at each other and it seemed like they were annoyed or there was an issue. I asked if there was a problem they said no but continued to be less than friendly. I was waiting on my date as it raining and he let me out to climb down the large flight of stairs. She kept trying to seat me when I had already informed her I was waiting on him before we sat. The attitude of being rude continued. We were sat and our waiter was just okay. I decided then that this place was not for us and we left. You all have some serious service issues, for the amount of money folks spend there they should be met with superb and welcoming attitudes. Unfortunately I was not.

We had a fantastic dinner at 1932 Reserve. It’s a beautiful spot right on the water with boat parking and a great atmosphere—polished, modern, and warm.

We started with the truffle deviled eggs and the pretzel bites—though “pretzel bites” doesn’t do them justice. These were golden, perfectly salted pillows with a crisp edge and chewy center, paired with a tangy pimiento cheese dip we couldn’t stop eating.

I had the beet salad, which came with fresh heirloom tomatoes—ripe, crisp, and full of flavor. Simple ingredients, beautifully done.

The filet mignon was cooked expertly and served over some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever tasted—silky, buttery, mouth-watering.

The duck confit was a standout. The flavor combinations were imaginative and beautifully balanced—unexpected in the best way. Clearly crafted by someone with real creative vision and mastery, I actually asked our server to send my sincere compliments to the chef. It paired perfectly with the Norton Malbec.

Dessert was a surprise highlight. The chef delivered it himself and explained that some of the components were sourced from other local spots: ice cream with butterscotch magic shell, a butterscotch donut from SoMo Donut Co., and a cheesecake cone from a nearby bakery. He mentioned rotating desserts and an upcoming event featuring guest chefs. I love seeing that kind of local collaboration.

Creative food, excellent execution, and a strong sense of place. Highly recommend.

A little out of our price range but went for a business dinner. Dress was lake casual. Parking spots were a rare commodity and LOTS of steps to get to the seating area. I think they have a UTV to taxi folks up and down but we didnt see it running. I would consider it “fancy” food which isn’t my thing. They did have a burger option though and crazy HUGE desserts! Saw lots of people getting smoked bourbon, which was kind of cool. Limited indoor seating, we sat on the covered patio. It was very crowded and loud because there were so many people, but it was a Saturday evening in July. They were able to accommodate our party of 19 with a reservation but we made it a couple months ahead of time. Happy to have had the experience.

Awwwh my dog: a place with 7 pages of Bourbon offering and a gigantic wine list is already top of my choice but adding to that one of the greatest food I ever had has to be fabulous! Our waitress was fun and knowledgeable, change the plastic chairs and you have a one star Michelin !!

This was our second visit, and once again, everything was excellent. We were a party of four, and no one was disappointed in anything. We had the duck, salmon, steak, and a burger, as well as appetizers and desserts.
They were busy, with a couple of very large parties, and most tables full. Service was still good.

A great lakeside fine dining restaurant. You can arrive by boat or by your vehicle. There are golf carts to bring you to the restaurant from the parking spots. In evening the reflecting lights from the lake brings a great ambiance. Reservation is highly recommended. Excellent selection of wine and cocktails. Seafood is fresh- beet salad and Ahi Tuna appetizers were great!!

The 1932 Reserve is a must stop for a Fancy Dinner. This restaurant is at the top of fine dining at Lake of the Ozarks. From creative food, to unparalleled service, and an amazing atmosphere, you will thank yourself for taking the time to eat here.

Our table enjoyed (off their new menu) the following items: Braised Beef Stroganoff, Caramelized Scallops, Filet Mignon, 1932 Burger, The Warm Pimento Cheese Dip, The HQ Mocktail, & CRSH Limeade.

To you gluten free eaters, the serve staff here is very knowledgeable on how each dish is prepared and willing to walk you through how your choice can be prepared to fit your dietary needs. Our server, Laura, went above and beyond to make sure my wife (the gluten free eater of our family) had a meal she could enjoy.

I also recommend the Garlic Aioli to go with your fries, it’s a nice touch!
