Pastries were mostly good, not excessively sweet and well balanced esp the lemon curd tart. The rest were ok but the canele was ghastly!! The texture was so dense, I’m horrified that these were served. (I’ve attached a pic of how canele is meant to look). Very inconsistent standard each time I try this cafe.

I come here at least 3x a week. Best pastries and food I’ve had from any cafe in Sydney. Everything is so fresh and the pastries are as creative and whimsical, as they are delicious.

My Mother and I absolutely love Cafe de la Fontaine. The service is always incredibly friendly, warm and attentive!

We have rated the coffee best in Potts Point along with their Barista Chai. His coffee skills and creative coffee making are award winning!

The staff truly continue to demonstrate why this business is highly successful through their warm, old fashioned customer service and their continued interaction with customers, making this cafe feel like a “family operated establishment”.

Thank you to Barista Chai, and today’s staff members Abbey, Milo, Carlos and Carolin for allowing my Mother and I to share this experience. You have taken care of us on numerous occasions and your service never fails. It’s rated A+.

We travel up to 50km to visit your cafe and although we have many choices of places to enjoy in the Eastern Suburbs, it’s your staff and coffee that have us returning each time.

We will continue to promote your venue amongst family, friends and coffee lovers.

Once again. Thank you Cafe de la Fontaine and your incredible staff members.

Came here for a quick bite and had the lemon crepes and a hot chocolate. Luckily, I got a quick parking at Potts point on a Sunday afternoon. The food and the ambience here is amazing, the staff are great and the meals/coffees are delicious. Prices are also a bargain, especially being Sydney. This is a great place to meet up with friends and family, I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Been twice. The first time the service was FANTASTIC! I wish I knew the name of the guy who worked that day. The second time it was awful, and I felt unwelcome. Oh well the pastries are good and the location is perfect for a catch up and people watching! Would recommend if you are in the area!

Tried a Too Good to Go bag with my kids and I was SO impressed. I’m not sure what was in the ham and cheese croissant but it was so yummy. My kids loved some kind of cake they got each plus the pastries. What a wonderful way to try a new place. Very, very grateful for this! Thanks so much. We will definitely be back when we are across the bridge again.

Busy coffee shop on corner street. Convenient spot in shopping centre area. Nice food on menus. Taste food fine. It’s better time to visit after 8.30 am. Plenty seats available.

It is all very french authentic! Good buttery croissants and good code, not to good with tea though. The owner is lovely.

Disappointing double standard in service. I showed a latte art photo to order—he clearly understood but gave me a basic one, while others got beautiful art. He had a fake smile the whole time. Last week’s barista was friendly and honest, this is just unfair and disappointing. What a terrible start to the New Year!

Paid $9.90 for a ‘Too Good to go surprise bag’ claimed to be $30 value — got half-stale baguettes and a few tiny pastries worth maybe $15. The baguette went straight to the bin. Total rubbish.
