A must if you like Thai food.
My husband and I are from out of town and randomly picked this place and we were very surprised at how delicious the food was. We order the Drunken noodle and the spicy fried rice. Both were missing bell pepper, but the food tasted amazing regardless of that. They were also cooking pad thai and it smelled amazing.

What a very pleasant find after doing a Google search for “restaurants near me!” Don’t let the outside of the restaurant deter you because inside they are coming delicious dishes, two of which we shared: green papaya salad and chicken phad thai… plus thai iced teas. Everything was fresh, tasty and bright, especially the papaya salad.
Al’s Thai Food restaurant is a little off the beaten path but we’ll worth a visit. The portions are generous and prices very reasonable for the quality and portion size. The service team are super friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend going here to satisfy your thai cravings!!

Stopped by for lunch. Interior is small and cozy as I think this is mainly a take out business but you can also sit inside and or outside when the weather allows. The food was prepared fresh and promptly served. Very flavorful, perfect spice level at the requested “medium”. Everything was delicious. 5 stars

Delicious! A hidden gem in the industrial east side of Portland. Worth checking out if you have time. It was too good to stop for a picture. Spicy basil chicken. Today’s special.

Don’t let this storefront fool you. The best Thai food I’ve had in my life! Though I want to try everything, so far, I can only speak for the Chicken pad see ew (add cashews), green curry, and red curry. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Seating is limited, so call in your order, if possible.

Super kind people at the counter, it’s a small shop but it had made a huge impact on the community as you can tell by the reviews. I got the Chicken Pad Thai lvl 3 spicy, and it was wonderful. Full of flavor, plenty of chicken, a nice bit of heat as well (helps me eat slower and enjoy the food). I am so excited to visit again!

Best Thai food in the Portland & Vancouver area; it’s not even close. Small take away shack with only a couple of seats. Salad rolls were fresh and delicious. The pumpkin curry with shrimp was the best we’ve had in ages- same goes for the Pad Thai: made vegan with tofu and plenty of onions, vegetables, cilantro, spices. Heat can be adjusted to order; excellent service here. Don’t miss out on this little place when visiting Portland!

Whew, I know this is late but it took me a while to find this on google. I ate here while on a business trip back in 2022. It was the first time I had ever eaten Thai food. I had the Red Curry heat level 7. I still think of that dish to this day because it was so good. I hope I can make it there again. Service was fast and the staff were friendly.

Look no further for home cooked Thai food at a very quaint restaurant by a very lovely couple! The location is a bit out of the way and when you drive by, you might miss it a few times. Be sure to slow down as you get close and park in the small lot nearby. The outdoor seating is to be expanded and it’s a great space to pick up food or dine in. The chef is very kind and uses the right amount of spice that you wouldn’t expect. The taste is authentic and feels like your mom just wok’d it out. Don’t be fooled by the lack of ‘red’ cause the spice is definitely there!

Food tasted great, a bit salty, but they went well with the rice. The portion was a tad small for us though.
The place is also very small with very limited indoor seating (and 5-6 parking spots).
