I love coming here and getting their happy hour specials. The food and service is always good and it’s a comfortable atmosphere with tvs and a jukebox. Great hangout spot!

ABSOLUTE incompetence! you might want to wait for this new business to get their act together before going.
i made a reservation for 14 a week ago. when i called to confirm on day of plan they could no longer accommodate us as the space was given to another. the woman who took my reservation failed to put it on the calendar. no one called us to let us know. Leaving me with my whole supper club and no where to go.
i requested that they put tables together in the dining room, we would arrive in 2 hours and they refused.
they are NOT getting off on the right foot and none of us will give them a 2nd chance.

We’ve been three or four times since Samuel’s closed. This time we ordered a 10 tender basket and only got 7 lol… Which is a problem if you’re expecting two people to get 5 each and it costs $17. 7 wings (supposed to be 10) for 17 bucks. Crikey mate. They’re also breaded differently than the other times and a bit dry. They were busy, it happens, but it stinks.
The time before this I forgot to mention buffalo in the order and got plain wings, which is technically on me, but I’ve never not been asked for the sauce.
The two times before were fine. The fries are always good.
I miss my tendies basket from Samuel’s. They were always so good, consistent, and reliable. You also got a lot more food for the same or a little less $. These tendies are about half the size.

So this is our second visit in there our first visit was like OK, but we thought we’d given another try and knowing that it was the former owner of Samuel’s, which we used to go to all the time we thought let’s try to give the local business another try, we went N with friends who are visiting from Florida and we ordered a large chicken nacho, Wings, and a large pretzel we had four drinks, and I have to tell you that the nachos were the absolute worst nachos we have ever tasted in our entire life. It was a big bowl of nachos with raw onions, underneath peppers and loads of jalapeño peppers, which were fine, but there was a cover of cheese over the top of them, and once that was done, there was no cheese mixed in underneath it all so it was like a big bowl of nacho chips. It was honestly the absolute worst we have ever tasted in our entire life. The pretzel must’ve been cooked way longer than it should’ve because it was like a hard pretzel from a bag of pretzels rather than a soft pretzel I asked if they had the pub cheese they said no we only serve it with honey mustard I said OK then the wings came out and you would’ve needed a chainsaw to get through those wings because they were so burnt the drinks we ordered very simple drinks, vodka with lemonade, which you could barely taste the vodka. We ordered a margarita with a sugar rim, and the margarita you could barely even taste The tequila in it, and my wife had a drink off the menu and she said the same thing that it was terrible and the other woman had just a regular iced tea, which was fine. This honestly was just an absolute terrible experience to bring these friends from Florida here thinking you know it’s got really good pub, food, blah, blah blah blah blah it was just terrible. It honestly truly was absolutely terrible. To spend $85 and then leave a $16 tip for the woman who was absolutely fantastic. The service was great. She did a really nice job in checking with us constantly to see if all of our needs were met. It was certainly not worth what we paid And not really sure if we will go back to this establishment again and it’s very unfortunate because we like to support local business.

Great pub food and service. Nothing fancy but excellent. I had not been there since it was Samuel’s in the old location but this new space is better with more space. Fun eclectic but simple decor is great. Happy hour (2-6) every day offers deals on several beers and ice pik vodka drinks. Just a solid spot for an unassuming meal. Worth being in your rotation

Food was very good. Got a buffalo chicken salad and it was a whopping 8 dollars to add two medium size pieces of chicken to the already 14 Cesar salad.. but over priced to me. The fish and chips were cooked good, but again, it was mostly just fries and felt like I paid too much for the meal.

It’s kind of a vintage dive bar vibe, in a strip mall of suburban Portland. $27 lobster roll was on par (or perhaps even better than) the $42 one I had in ye Olde Porte. Been there twice, will go back for a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th….
