This is our first time to eat there and we had a most enjoyable evening. We had a bone in fillet cooked medium rare and it came out perfect. It was accompanied by roasted garlic. For the sides, we had asparagus with Bernaise and twice baked potato and to start they had delicious East Coast oysters. All in all this was a fantastic dinner.

Wow! This was our first time visiting Steakhouse 316 and it did not disappoint. I mean this place exceeded my expectations by a long shot, this was the best steak I’ve ever had. We ordered the 12oz eye of ribeye medium rare and it was perfectly seasoned, thick and juicy, cooked to perfection, and pan searing hot! We also ordered loaded twice baked mashed potato’s and broccolini with anchovy butter, YUM. The flavor really stands out here, as well as the quality of the ingredients. The service was also incredible, we were seated immediately with our reservation and our coats were checked, the staff were very attentive, always filling waters and taking away dishes we were finished with. The manager also stopped by the table to see how everything was, nice touch. Money well spent here in Aspen! Highly recommend.

Amazing steak Perfect after a day of skiing!
The steak was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly — exactly what you want after a long day on the mountain. The cocktails were also really well made and paired great with the food.

Nice meal in a warm and inviting ambiance. Made a reservation and informed them in advance of my wife’s birthday. Was charged $20 for her dessert with 2 candles in it. Will probably spend my $400 somewhere that GIVES a birthday dessert next time.

Our visit to Steakhouse 316 was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm, classy atmosphere with a cozy, upscale vibe. The staff was friendly and professional, striking the right balance between attentive and respectful of our space.

We came for one thing — a great steak — and Steakhouse 316 absolutely delivered. We ordered the tomahawk steak to share, and it was a showstopper. It arrived beautifully presented, carved tableside, and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The flavor was bold and smoky, with a great crust on the outside and tender, juicy meat throughout. Every bite melted in our mouths.

For our side, we chose the sautéed spinach, which was simple but expertly prepared — buttery, garlicky, and fresh. It paired perfectly with the richness of the steak and helped balance the meal. We drank iced tea, which was freshly brewed and refilled often without us having to ask — a small touch, but appreciated.

We didn’t go for dessert or drinks, but the main meal alone was more than enough to impress. The portions were generous, and the quality of both the food and service was top-tier.

While it’s definitely a splurge, Steakhouse 316 is well worth it for a special night out or any time you’re craving a world-class steak. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit

Best steakhouse I’ve ever been to – 28 YO Chicagoan and came to visit Colorado.

Highly recommend any butcher/steak item medium. The lobster Mac & cheese is tasty. But smaller portioned. The asparagus is also tasty with the black truffle butter & red chimichurri sauce. Highly recommend this place. Best steaks ever.

$600 for a table of 4. Host broke the wine glass while seating us left broken glass on the table. Ran out of still water just tap which was awful, ran out of new york strip but tried to offer a more expensive steak. Waited 20 minutes to place order and 1 hour and 15 minutes for food to come to table while 3 other tables who were seated after me got theres first. Waiter said because one person out of the 4 ordered a salad they put our orders behind every one else which makes absolutely no sense to still wait over a hour. Food is good but overall experience was sub par. Manager doing follow ups on tables just said “im sorry” and went to next table. Dont know the reason for following up on experiences if theres no real effort to understand the breakdowns or to at least show some sense of compassion. If this was longhorn or texas roadhouse i wouldn’t have cared cause my ticket would have been 1/5th of the price. Ive been to steakhouses in new york, LA, Miami, Paris just to name a few. Never seen this many breakdowns at this level of a steakhouse before. Halls Chophouse in Charleston would never.

Made a reservation here 6 weeks ahead as we read online it’s one of the best restaurants in Aspen.

Having been to some of the top steakhouses around the world I would say this definitely ranks among the best that I’ve been. The cowboy ribeye I ordered was cooked and seasoned perfectly and incredibly tender. The sides were very good as well, we had the twice baked and some veggies. I enjoyed the atmosphere it was very cozy. It’s expensive but if you come here you know what to expect and I thought the value delivered. Shoutout to the water guy who never let a glass reach empty.

We had the option of the dining room or the red velvet room in the back. We chose the latter. It was perfect. So private for us, but we could still see everyone. We had wonderful interactions with all waiters, staff (Alejandro, Justin) and found the conversation with them charming and relatable. (We both lived in Indiana and found the manager had been there often). The food was excellent, from the recommended west coast oysters, tuna tartare (very good), crab cake (my boyfriend’s favorite dish of the night), brussel sprouts, twice baked potato, filet with black truffle butter and a medium-bodied pinot, I think. Everything was so delicious, we only ended up taking one photo of the food (and a few of us in the red velvet room) and they’re on my bf’s phone. I’ll have to get those pics and upload them later.
(if someone could “like” my review, then I’ll get a reminder to post pics. Thanks)

It’s really hard to not give 5 to this place. I had one of my best steaks ever so tender and flavorful ( just Slat and Pepper) .
Our host was so friendly and helpful and his choice for my steak turned out amazing.
Cocktail was what I like ( not too sweet not too strong) . Unfortunately we were so full and couldn’t try dessert ! One of the most go places in Aspen.
