Via! by Sale Pepe at Whalers Village is a nice spot for a quick Italian bite while walking around Kaʻanapali. We tried the pesto pasta, which was coated in a rich, vibrant basil pesto that gave it a fresh, herby flavor. The rotini held the sauce really well, and it was topped with grated cheese and a sprinkle of chili flakes for a little extra kick. The portion was satisfying and served in a convenient takeout bowl, making it easy to grab and enjoy while exploring the village or heading toward the beach. Overall, it’s a simple but flavorful option if you’re craving pasta in Whalers Village.

We’ve been coming to Maui for 10 years now, and this has always been our go-to pizza spot It was recently renovated and the company changed, but it’s still run by the same great staff — and the pizza is still SO good!
It’s a little on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. The cheese pizza is always a hit, and the pastas are also super yummy. This will definitely continue to be one of our must-stop places every time we visit Maui!

The Parmesan Cheese Rigatoni is the best pasta I’ve ever had! For those who think $19 is a lot, it is completely worth it. They make the pasta, they prepare it for you after you order, comes out piping hot, creamy and delicious! Tonight’s was even better than usual.
Oh, I split it with my daughter and there was enough fo both of us, since we were getting a shake next door.
We sat outside in the warm Maui air.

This is their express location, with a full restaurant called Sale Pepe. So you’re getting sit down restaurant quality, not fast food. Hence the price. $8 for a large pizza slice, ~ $20 for pasta.
A local recommended them to us, and told us how they originally were in Old Town Lahaina and were destroyed in the fire.

Absolutely horrible food, and INSANELY overpriced. Pizza was stored in bins in back and warmed up when ordered. (You can clearly see it being stored when you walk to the side of the register). We got pasta, pizza, and 2 salads and none of it was good. Pretty sure it wasn’t even “Caesar” dressing. Definitely do not recommend!

The service was top-notch – quick and friendly. The pizza was worth every penny – hot and a variety of interesting choices. Also loved all the choices for their fresh homemade pasta – lots of options to choose from. Will definitely be back.

I’ve never had pizza like this before and wish there was a Via! location near me! I traveled to Maui from Las Vegas and got the Romana Style White with Mozz and Spicy Calabrese. Honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had and worth the price (and trip!) The perfect amount of spicy for me, one slice was very filling and definitely passed the cheese pull test.

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The size was big enough to feed 3 adults that are semi hungry but I would avoid this place. We paid $51 for this large pep. It’s $43ish for a plain cheese and they charge you $7 for Pepperoni!!! That is insane! The pizza was very average. Would never do pizza from here again mainly because of the crazy freaky price. Not worth what we paid.

First night in Maui and needed food. Ordered 10 slices because they were out of full pizzas. Cost $120. Got to our condo and there were only 7 slices in the box. Went back today to let them know giving them a chance to make it right but the guy couldn’t care less. Yes, we’re tourists and guess that’s how they treat us. Very disappointing.

They DO NOT want you talking g to them. That’s clear by the handwritten sign. The pizza was burnt and nasty. It’s a NO from me sorry.
