The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely welcoming — has the kind of staff who make you feel like a regular the second you walk in. The place itself looks amazing: a perfect mix of neighborhood bar and modern hangout. It’s clean, cozy, and full of good energy, with TVs for every game and plenty of space to relax.
i went shopping across the street to shop at a local resale shop, where the shop owner told me how the new owners have truly made Moortell a shining star in the Pevely community — and after visiting, I completely agree. You can tell there’s a lot of pride and heart behind what they’ve built.
The food and drinks are great, the service is top-notch, and the whole vibe just feels right. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink, catching a game, or looking for a friendly local spot, Moortell Sports Pub nails it.

Visited for the 1st time tonight to watch STL City SC game. Thrilled with the changes and hard work the new owner put into the place. Lots of TVs, easy to watch. Customer service was greatThe foodod was decent. I love how clean it was and the overall vibes. Will definitely be back.

Great place to go to watch a game, have lunch, or have a cocktail or two and unwind. The service has always been outstanding, they have bingo either Tuesday or Thursday (I forget which one). Food is good, it’s not Ruth Christ, but above average bar food or neighborhood hang out. The atmosphere is always upbeat, plenty of TV’s to watch what ever sports are on (i.e. hockey and baseball, for instance the Masters, Blues, and Cardinals game all at the same time).
Very nice place and I haven’t found anything near as close in Pevely, Herculaneum, or Festus.
