We tried the New Year’s sashimi, sushi, and roll special platter again enjoyed it yesterday. I’m so glad to say the quality was back to what we’ve always loved. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, just like we remembered.
It really feels like the previous experience was just a one-time thing, and that’s such a relief. Sushi Cho has always been a place we enjoy and trust, and this visit reminded us why. We’re happy to be back and look forward to ordering again!

We have usually enjoyed ordering the special platter from Sushi Cho for special occasions. We’ve ordered it for Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and even last Christmas, and have always appreciated the quality.
However, the special platter we ordered this Christmas ($199) was very disappointing. The quality was noticeably different from previous experiences, and some of the sushi and rolls had an unpleasant smell, to the point that we couldn’t eat them. Even the salmon, which has always been consistently good, had a slight odor this time.
The sashimi quality was relatively better, but overall this platter did not meet the standard we have come to expect from Sushi Cho. We have always been grateful for your quality, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I’m not sure what happened, but I wanted to share this honest feedback.
We hope this was just a one-time issue, and we truly hope to enjoy the quality we’ve come to expect from Sushi Cho again in the future.

Had dinner at Sushi Cho and the place was packed — clearly a local favorite! I ordered the hwe dup bap, and the portion was generous with very fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive, even refilling my tea right away. They also brought each guest a complimentary piece of sushi at the end — a nice surprise! The only downside was that the bowl looked a bit old and had some chipped edges, but everything else was excellent. I’ll definitely be back.

Our appetizer was on the pricier side, with just two pieces being around $9. I’d say the lunch platter was a great deal! Also, the sushi quality was superb. If you’re considering a sushi place for a casual date or just to simply enjoy good sushi, I’d say this place is a great place to try.

This feels exactly what I want a sushi place to feel like. It is clean with a nice modern feel and the service is professional but kind. The food came out fast and all of the sushi was delicious, my favorite being the maguro nigiri. I do wish the rice to fish ratio was a bit higher, but I will happily come back despite that minor difference in opinion.

The food varies in quality massively. The sushi rolls, I am told, were excellent. I ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki, and it arrived not sizzling, but room temperature. The vegetable tempura was bland, I didn’t finish it. I left so much food behind because it was bland.
Yay! We got free ice cream in exchange for room temperature teriyaki.
