Excellent find on my way to Meredith! The Seafood Chowder was OUTSTANDING and the beer was ice cold…and let’s face it…it looked like a commercial for Blue Moon. Can’t wait to go back for a full meal!

I pushed off trying this place because from just looking at the menu, you would think that it’s just another pub selling food that tastes better the more you drink. I was WRONG! The food was the best I have had out in the Lakes Region in quite some time. The price was low compared to the high quality tasting food. Burger, fries, pizza and mushroom bacon soup were very delicious. As I was leaving, I saw someone’s nachos they looked so good. I already know what I’m going to be ordering next time. The seasonal drink menu is very well put together. I had a very delicious apple cider margarita.

Had a party of 13 that they accommodated last minute! The service was excellent. Rory was our server and he did not disappoint! He not only took our orders but also made our drinks which were delicious. Food was served quickly and all of our orders were correct except for one which was noticed and corrected without us having to mention it. Food was excellent. I highly recommend The Mug Restaurant. Ask for Rory if you can!

The most exquisitely well prepared tendies Ive had in my life. Miraculously crispy, but not burnt, the breading doesn’t fall off the meat, excellent texture, and good sauce selection. Definitely flavortown.

Very casual dining, OK prices. I got takeout – mexi-cali salad. It had a good amount of chicken for the cost, but they definitely skipped on the greens. Ftee parking, picnic table seating outside.

Absolutely loved this place. Small, Quaint, great prices, great service and Delicious food. The Honey Barbecue chicken roll up was excellent. The best I have ever tasted. The chicken was tender and the sandwich was filled with bacon, lettuce, tomato. So yummy! I highly recommend the The Mug!

We visited The Mug multiple times during bike week and loved every single meal we had there, the service was awesome and their care for their customers is beyond. We asked our server if they had any stickers to purchase and when we found out they did not, the owner approched us and got our address, 5 months later I received some stickers in the mail (we’re Canadian btw)!!! the cheese curds and pizza are a must!

I’m only giving service 4 stars because we were (at first) the only couple in the pool table/bar area and service was pretty slow. I do not, however, know if her bar was set up and they sat us unexpectedly.
