CuVino for the catering win!! We celebrated a 95th birthday yesterday and had ordered the whole lasagna tray, and 2 half tray salads. Everything was prepped and presented beautifully. The lasagna and salad portions were generous and their recipe was perfectly balanced with meat, cheese, noodles and sauce. And then the perfect bake with crispy edges! When I saw that bread was included in the lasagna order, I noted it but didn’t think much more about it. The tray of fresh and warm yeast rolls was the icing on the cake!! And so plentiful that we passed them around before we started dinner. I think our 8 grandchildren were responsible for eating half the tray but there was more than enough for everyone.
CuVino is our go-to for Italian cuisine from now on!! Many thanks to the whole team.

I was there yesterday I got the Eggplant Parm with Spaghetti. I was not given a salad or told about it. They gave me a small 50cent piece of bread I had to ask for butter. Both was very salty. Last time I remember enjoying it more and I did gave me salad. It was $27.00 plus tax thought that was not worth it. Very pricey. My friends wanted to have a BIG dinner with over 20 people now decided not to go there. I am sorry I had to write this review.

7/28/25 Great meal at CuVino. Shared the grilled calamari appetizer with my wife and had the eggplant Alta Villa again. Great service. Reasonable prices. Free parking lot. Wheelchair accessible. Wonderful.
9/3/24 Yet another excellent meal at CuVino. I shared the grilled calamari appetizer and the eggplant stuffed with grilled marinated ground meat. My wife and I are trying to reduce carbohydrates so we had the spinach instead of the pasta with this neal. I asked for extra marinara sauce and mixed it with my spinach. The mixture was excellent, better than either the spinach or the marinara sauce alone. I spoke to the owner and gave him my permission to put that dish on the menu as a side dish. I gave him permission to call it “Spinach Henry.”

I always enjoy giving a good review because it means that I just enjoyed a great meal. Well I just enjoyed a great meal at CuVino.
The place is nicely laid out with a nice Italian trattoria design. I’ve included lots of pictures. CuVino is clean and neat. The service is friendly and efficient.
My wife and I shared a grilled calimari appetizer. Most restaurants that serve calimari make it only with breading. This restaurant gives you a choice of calimari with or without breading.
We had a delicious Caesar salad with anchovies. Not all restaurants include the anchovies.
My wife had Chicken Chesapeake, chicken and lump crab meat in a delicious cream sauce. I had eggplant Alta Villa, ground Angus beef in an eggplant wrap with an excellent marinara sauce.
Our friend had Pasta Bolognese, pasta with a meat sauce. He enjoyed it.
Normally, I don’t indulge in dessert, but my wife keeps telling me that gelato is better than ice cream. I tried it, and she may be correct.

This is my favorite Italian Restaurant in Maryland! If I crave Italian, nothing else satisfies that craving except a dish from here. The chef knows exactly what they are doing. Ravioli is my favorite! But I cannot complain about the Pizza either. Desserts are on point! The menu is not crazy long which is how it should be! The wine menu has no limits. Hosts are always very welcoming and professional! Overall a must visit place. Only a slight complaint if I am nitpicking would be the hours open window is slightly small.

Stopped in to grab a drink and some to-go food for the family. The bar is smaller but amply sized for a full array of drink choices and local regulars who were all welcoming and friendly. The bartender is a professional and clearly takes pride in his craft. The food was excellent and everyone loved their choices.

-The food came out of the kitchen quickly upon ordering.
-Overall, I was happy with the quality of my pepperoni pizza, although it could have used a bit more flavor. The enormity of the pepperonis added a unique touch.
-Most of the food here is made from scratch (including the gelato). The pasta here is not made from scratch.
-There is a gelato bar at the back of the restaurant.
-The restrooms here sparkle. They are pristine.
The Bad-
– It was a busy weekend night. This place was originally packed when I arrived. The acoustics make this place especially LOUD.
-While the waitstaff are friendly, this is the longest I’ve ever waited to pay a check (20 minutes). I felt ignored most of my stay. This place obviously needs to hire more staff.
-The cloth napkins are an elegant touch. However, CuVino needs to replace their polyester dinner napkins with the more absorbent cotton ones.
The Verdict:
-This seems to be a quality restaurant. However, until they hire more staff, I’d stay away.

We had a great first experience at CuVino with delicious food and great service. Our waiter Benjamin went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic dinner. I had the potato croquettes followed by the carbonara and a pistachio gelato affogato-style. The carbonara was rich and extravagant and so flavorful. Even my husband thought the affogato was amazing, and he hates coffee! I can’t wait to go back and try the pizza sometime. Definitely make sure to make a reservation — we actually tried dining here once before, but when we walked in the wait was two hours, so we ended up elsewhere. The weekend is always going to be very busy, but the food is worth it for sure!

They had a nice atmosphere, wine cellar, good food. My pasta had too much sauce but other than that, it tasted good. Calamari was just the right amount of breading, not oily. The bread was okay, could’ve been softer. Loved the pizza!
