On February 22, 2025, at 7:30 AM, I arrived for breakfast when the restaurant was nearly empty except for a man and two ladies who also entered around the same time. We ended up sitting in the same area. Mari, the assigned waitress, immediately attended to the group of three, taking about ten minutes to take their order without acknowledging my presence or informing me that I would be served shortly.
It appeared that a shift change was underway, and as new workers arrived, one even indicated that my order had been overlooked before walking away. Finally, a gentleman named Brandon—who was seated near the kitchen and had just finished his night shift—noticed that I had not been attended to. Displeased that I was left waiting, he promptly offered to take my order. At that moment, Mari was seemingly prompted by the notice of my neglect.
I was disappointed by the overall lack of supervision. Two floor supervisors were present yet did not intervene, and one employee was seen using his cell phone while standing near diners. This experience highlights a clear need for better oversight and staff training. I sincerely appreciate Brandon’s initiative and exceptional customer care, and I hope his efforts are formally recognized by the District/Region Representative. v/r, Dr. K. King

Called the Waffle House but the waffles are not the priority in the kitchen. My friend and I went on a Sunday around lunch. I ordered a waffle and he ordered a sandwich. He was finished eating his sandwich, and I still had not gotten my waffle. The couple sitting next to us also had to remind them and wait a long time for a waffle as part of their meal. The employees prioritize to-go orders over customers in the restaurant especially for the waffles. The employee literally asked me if I wanted my waffle to go because my friend was done eating. If I wanted it to go then we would have ordered food to go and not sat down. They need to serve the waffles in the order they are placed instead of making the customers in the restaurant wait because to-go orders come in. Also getting a table’s food out all at once so no one is sitting there without food. Simple adjustments would go a long way.

Was a wonderful meal and a wonderful atmosphere. Nice hot cup of coffee! And who can say no to a waffle! Tee was amazing such a energetic and wonderful person. Definitely will be coming back to this location.

Gave this place one star because zero wasn’t an option. 10 minutes to be acknowledged, 15 to be served coffee, 25 before my order was even given to the cook. Maybe you’re thing; was the place busy? Three people in the restaurant. This is the worst Waffle House experience ever. I haven’t rated the food yet. Maybe I will if I ever get it…
Update: Food came. Bottom of fried egg black (dirty grill). An employee came in after shift change and was running the place by himself while the others (including the manager) accomplished nothing. Additionaly, the manager struck up a conversation with me explain to me that her employee’s weren’t doing their jobs before publicly harassing them for not making tea.

Walked in, was greeted with a hello. Wasn’t sure if I was gonna eat in or take to go so I sat at the counter and looked through the menu(no one said anything about this new policy, or approached to get a drink order or anything, but 3 employees were at the register) . After about 2mins of browsing the menu, I stood up to place a to go order. I was then told I can’t place a walk in to go order I would have to go place it outside. I laughed and walked out. The establishment wasn’t busy there were 2 couples and one lady sitting at the bar(who paid and left before I got up to place my order) 2 cooks and what looked to be 3 servers.

Cons: The cook decided it was okay to serve bacon this burnt. Advice to the cook; if you don’t want to be at work please just stay home. Me and my partner were the only ones in the building eating so it wasn’t that he was busy. The service was slow. We were seated for 6 mins before coming over with menus.
Pros: The manager saw the bacon and asked to make it over. I didn’t have to call her over she noticed it and made the situation right. The facility was clean.

I made an online order for an all-star breakfast with blueberry nougat waffle and sausage, order of biscuits and gravy, a bowl of grits and three drinks. The waffle they gave me was a regular waffle after paying extra for the blueberry nougat. They gave me bacon instead of the sausage. They did not give me the bowl of grits that I paid over 3 dollars for. When I got home I googled the phone number and called the restaurant and the phone number says if you want to make an online order use the app 4 times and then it hangs up on you so I couldn’t even talk to a person about their mess up. I am not gunna drive back up there because it’s like 15 minutes from my house. Very terrible service. If you can read simple English then you probably shouldn’t get a job where reading is fundamental.

My fiancé and I went to this location today. The Caucasian manager who seemed to be disabled was really rude. He didn’t greet us, and refused to take our walk in to go order when another location did on Hull St. One of the servers was about to take our order before 1pm, and the manager yelled loudly that they weren’t taking any to go orders. I felt like we were being discriminated against. I drove out my way to go to this location, and I expect something to be done because I support Waffle House all the time. That manager on Ironbridge has no management skills, and needs to be replaced, because of his horrible customer service. Also no sign was posted that to go orders were not being accepted.
