Shanghai You Garden opened our doors in 2016 right in the middle of lively Flushing, New York City. Our Chefs have been serving authentic Shanghainese food for many years. Our extensive menu offers an array of variety for everyone whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our Xiao Long Bao’s (Soup Dumplings) are what we are known for but we are proud to serve a full selection of authentic Shanghainese dishes to all of NYC. Our mission is to bring friends and family together as they all peer in together as the bamboo steamer opens, revealing the beginning of their Shanghainese dining adventure at Shanghai You Garden.

We used to order often when we lived in Queens so when we saw that they have one in garden City we were thrilled.
Husband loves the roast duck and it’s a great price. I get the Peking duck, but always have to add some of the roast duck because they always give just a slab of skin with very little meat.
The Shanghai fried rice is delicious.

Great spot to grab some of my favorite Chinese food: crispy (not soggy/gluey) fried pork dumplings, pork soup dumplings that stay soft and pork with rice cake.
Everything was made to order with minimal wait, the staff were quick to answer questions, take orders and make sure customers got their food quickly.
They had a promotion if you spend $20 or more, you csn choose between Peking duck bun or pork soup dumplings as well.
Lots of great dishes to choose from, definitely will be back to try more dishes like the Peking duck.

I have been excitedly waiting for this location to open. It was well worth the wait. The soup dumplings are so soupy and good. The noodles were perfect. The free peking duck bun was delicious. I love that they are in the 99 Ranch Market food court, so there’s tons of parking, and places to sit and eat. They only do take out, so don’t expect table service.
There is a small surcharge for using a credit card, but they take venmo and zelle.

They r no longer the only shanghai food place in Westbury. I made a mistake & ordered with the new place which is a full fletch restaurant & around the corner from them and tried to pick up from them. When we all realized it, she laughed at me with her associate, which was uncall for. I would never order from them again. Customer service is lacking. The other place i picked up from said: enjoy! Have a nice day.

I eat here all the time and food is always accurate and taste good. I find it a little weird however that the way they heat up my roast duck is they snap the lid on the container then put it in the microwave for a few second. It would probably be better to heat up in the microwave without the lid because I am not sure if it is a microwave safe container.

Hot and juicy yummy crab soup dumplings in Nassau? I got nothing to complain and I am really happy. Same taste as the one in Flushing. All the dishes are delicious. My mom is super about their sweet tofu pudding . Very smooth and tasty.

The Shanghai You Garden stall has finally opened. It is situated inside the 99 Ranch Supermarket food court along with other Vietnamese or Chinese food selections. It also offers free indoor seating.

No idea why the rate is so low. Sometime they are just busy, maybe too busy, which means everyone loves the foods and willing to wait.
