We ordered chicken tacos, fish tacos, and tamales from El Maguey, with condiments on the side. When I got home, I was really disappointed. The chicken tacos were dry and bland, and the hard shell was soggy and fell apart before I could even pick it up. I couldn’t eat them at all. The fish tacos were just okay, and the tamales were bland too. The only thing I actually enjoyed were the chips. I wouldn’t order from here again — it honestly felt like a rip-off.

One server is completely rude. I used to go once a week and know the cooks and owner angel. But one of his servers are rude and could care less. I said I’ll never be back and she ignorantly said ok. Like my business don’t matter to them. Everyone else is great just have a crap server that they will do nothing about. She didn’t even take a drink order until 10 mins after sitting down. And was completely rude the whole time. This is t the first time she’s been rude and I’m sure it’s not the last. They need to fix the service here!!!

Agree with many others here in service. But at the same, place was fairly busy on Friday night. Good Mexican cuisine, adult drink options and kids menu. Service could be a bit more attentive but good place to come back.

They have a different enchilada sauce than EVERY other location. Tastes like it comes from a can and is very dark and thick. The salsa also has been changed when you order online you get 2 teeny tiny cups (as pictured) which is absurd. The workers also seem like they don’t wanna be there. Food takes for ever to come out and also takes for ever for delivery and I live .3 miles from this location. I love this chain but this location is so bad. Also, the enchiladas are never fully covered in sauce so there’s always parts that are really hard from when it was in the oven because it wasn’t moist

This was a toughy. The whole experience felt like a rollercoaster. Visited for dinner on a Saturday night around 6:30 and the place was empty. The chips took forever to get to our table, which was an issue because our toddler was getting antsy. Also, we read that a second basket was a charge of $2.50. While the price wasn’t an issue, I thought it very weird that you would have a complimentary first basket of chips at a Mexican restaurant. Service was great otherwise. He even gave me a larger cup because I can’t resist Diet Dr. Pepper and would probably down about four in a normal sitting. Quesadilla was small, but tasty. Rice was pretty bland and the refried beans were some of the worst I’ve ever had, and I order them at any Mexican place I go to. Bill was cheap . Walked away satisfied but wishing the food would have been up to par with the other El Maguey’s.

Food was delicious. I got the Pollo Feliz and i would get it again. Service wasn’t great. They forgot my water when asked and also forgot the spicy salsa. But I would be come back. Raspberry margarita was pretty good too.

Went in for lunch around 230pm was completely empty. Was seated fast sn courteous. Waitress was pleasant an fast on chips an salsa an refills. My girl had chili verde an I had beef nachos both were delicious. Was pleasant lunch. Authentic Mexican music played over the place

Went by for their Taco Special night for my birthday. Staff was amazing! Good food, good drinks, tunes, perfect weather out on the patio! Everyone was wearing masks and distancing too! 10/10
