It looks delicious but very disappointed in the lack of flavor in the Caribbean steak tacos. It would also be nice if they had corn tortillas as well.

Awesome place! Food was great, service was prompt, and vibes were good. No indoor seating and it is windows order only so if you are looking for a spot with a server then this is not the place for you. There are picnic tables next to the cantina for seating or you can find a spot to sit around Baytowne Wharf.

Can’t beat the atmosphere of Baytowne wharf in general. Parking does fill up fast though so get there early. You’re better off parking further down the street in the overflow parking since garage parking is limited and spots are very narrow.

Overall really enjoyed the experience and the food was good.

Went to this place, and it’s a total SCAM. Ordered a $6 snow cone. It came out to $6.54. The scammer working the counter says she didn’t have change from the $7 I gave her. She expected me to be okay with rounding up instead of her rounding down.
This happened to us before with these scammers. Don’t use their business. It’s a ripoff.

We got the chicken burrito and the children got chicken tenders with churro bites. The food was delicious and there was a squirrel that was the store “friend”. It loves to eat chips but also didn’t bother you while you were eating. It was a cute little eatery that had a park close by for the children to play on afterwards. The rice on the burrito is amazing and I would eat it by itself.

Food is great, service was great! Expect to pay Wharf prices though, quesadilla and nachos with two drinks was about $40. All cooked fresh to order though, by the friendliest young lady behind the counter.
Worth it if you’re staying at the resort or stopping by, I wouldn’t go out of the way to grab a taco.

Honestly one of the best meals we had during our trip! The loaded nacho fries were awesome and the create your own deal was great – I made the mahi tacos Caribbean style and it was delicious! Outdoor seating around the marina made the perfect backdrop to eat our meal!

New favorite mexican food stop! Stopped in for lunch in the midst of a work day and I am in LOVE! This walk-up restaurant is super convenient and so easy! The menu has a nice variety for the size and is so simple to understand. Even though they break it down into 4 meal types, 4 proteins, & 4 styles, it doesn’t take away from that “customized just for me” feeling. I got the bowl with the carnitas & firecracker style and it was DELICIOUS! Service was quick & honestly above and beyond my expectations. It started down pouring seconds after I ordered so I ran for cover under an umbrella while I waited. The gentleman working noticed and decided that even though he was completely dry in the place that he would run it out to me so I didn’t have to come up to the window in the rain – customer service at it’s finest! If you’re in the mood for a yummy lunch at an affordable price then this place is for you!

I found it on par with your average chain tex mex like Chili’s. I had a jerk shrimp bowl and my wife had a traditional chicken bowl. The rice tasted like rice pilaf out of the box, the shrimp were unexceptional for being in the gulf, the sauces and salsas were heavy handed and lacking in any kick. It’s fine if you need to fill up or feed the kids, but not worth seeking out. The sangria was generous and delicious – a delightful surprise.

Visited Destin, FL for three days and discovered Cannery Lane Cantina the first night. We ate there for dinner all three nights. Amazing food (and fries) and lots of variety. 10/10 recommend. I wish they had a branch where I live! They would give Taco Shop/ Burrito Works a run for their money.
