********UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT********* Bar and restaurant are open 7 days a week. Kitchen will close at 8:30-9 on weekdays but bar is open till last customer leaves. Friday and Sat kitchen closes at 10 and Bar closes till our last customer leaves. Come join us for great food, drinks, and entertainment, we look forward to seeing you! We’re Bourbon Brick Oven & Grill and we’ve been a restaurant here in Bardstown, KY, since 2019. We have live entertainment from all over the state. We are known for our homemade dough and pizza sauce, and we’re the only brick oven pizza you can get in Bardstown. We also have the best prices on drinks in town. The food is good. I’ve never been in restaurant but I’ve ordered the oven brick special twice and was expecting what door dash menus states which is a pepperoni sausage mushroom onion and green pepper pizza. Both times I received what I thought was the wrong pizza until I came here and saw a picture of the in store menu. Even the menu on the website says what I thought I was ordering. But I have found out they changed it in store as a chicken mushroom spinach and banana pepper which I dislike very much. Please change your online and DoorDash menu to match your actual in store menu. I wouldn’t have ordered this if it was correct

We have been here a few times and always enjoy the food. Not part of the historical district, we found it one year after attending the craft show by using Google.
Pizza is always good, and my lady loves the Calzone. Very basic dining room, but it’s clean. Some changes to dining area since our last visit and looks like they are still adding more.

We made a special trip today as I was in the mood for pizza and always had a good experience. Today wasn’t as good as past experiences.
I got a 10″ Supreme and she got the Calzone. My pizza was burnt. Pizza had a burnt smell, but I tried a couple bites. Crust was black on the bottom. Waitress came by to check on us and I showed her it was black. She said they would make a new one and they did.
Possibly a new cook as the second pizza wasn’t as good as others I have gotten here. Maybe it needed more sauce and better timing in the oven.
My lady had the Calzone, which she said was good, but the crust was close to being burnt.
Server was friendly, however she never checked to see if we needed refills and we had a wait for our check.
This was a late lunch for us, around 4 p.m., so they weren’t busy at the time (employees on break outside when we arrived). I think we just caught them on a bad day, so we will be back.

The Food was okay. Was weird that they had Indian food menu and BBQ menu but to each their own I guess. Went during lunch hours and there were only a few tables with other people. The pizzas weren’t bad. Not sure if I would go back.

Under the new management, Bourbon Brick Oven Pizza has truly transformed into a 5-star dining gem! The wings here are nothing short of amazing – perfectly cooked with a great flavor options! As a fan of NY style pizza, I was blown away by the authenticity and quality of their pizzas. The crust was just the right mix of crispy and chewy, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. To top it off, their bar selection is fantastic, offering a wide range of choices that cater to all tastes. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommend!

I’d advise against ordering online, as none of my modifications actually happened. Asked for no LTO and got all of it, and tots instead of fries but I got fries. Also asked for my burger to be cooked med bit it was past well done and also tasted as if had been cooked an hour before pickup. Hopefully it’s better when dining in.

Disclaimer: I have rewritten this review. My experience tonight 6/23 after being a weekly regular for years, makes me not want to return. The bartender was very detached, what can I get you guys was all she said in her greet. We ordered our weekly usual. It came out in a timely fashion however the Jerk sauce I ordered came out as a dry rub. Upon notifying our bartender/server whom dropped the food and began to walk away immediately without follow up service questions, i notified her that we wanted jerk sauce, she stated it had been changed a month ago to a dry rub. (We ordered it 8 days ago and received the delicious sauce expected. ) .She offered no apologies, no explanations, just that it had just been changed a month ago. It seemed that she did not care whether we were there or not, and we were a nuisance. She had 0 personality and made us feel very unwelcomed. Our drinks were empty for at least 10 minutes before she revisited us. She did not even ask us if we needed refills we had to wave her back down after leaving. She gave us nasty looks while we were there. Definitely treated us differently than her other tables. Maybe had she not been judging based on appearances, she would have realized that we were regulars and very good tippers. When dropping the bill I tried to call her back to fix the total, because we were charged for wings after telling her we did not want the ones that were dry rub. With an attitude and a nasty look, she said I’m fixing it. I’m not sure what’s going on with management however we definitely will call before we come up here to make sure she is not going to be bartending. If the owners are smart, they will give the option of the jerk sauce or at least educate their staff to educate their customers on menu/sauce changes, and to not make their guests feel like they are a bother to the person serving them. Being a server and bartender of 18 years, this is the 1st time EVER that I have not left a 20% or more tip. I can’t remember her name but this girl was a Caucasian girl with long dark hair and a ponytail terrible customer service, Terrible table service, And treated us like we were a bother to her being there. We will from now on, if we choose to come back, call and make sure we know who is going to be taking care of us.

As two visitors from Wisconsin… this was SO GOOD! We were greeted by Makenna and she was absolutely wonderful! She gave us suggestions that were top notch and will definitely have us telling everyone we know.
She recommended the Brick Oven Special pizza and the garlic knots. She even told us a little secret that the ranch is homemade along with all the other items on the menu down to the marinara sauce (which you can definitely tell)!
Definitely a must if you are in the area and love pizza!
