Edway Taphouse is our go-to for laid back vibes and fun events! Not only is the drink selection plenty, but the events they host cover the entire spectrum of fun for the whole family. You can come and hang out watch a football game, play games, enjoy a murder mystery, paint night, calligraphy class, and we don’t have kids but they have kids events all the time! Their coffee shop is delightful as well. Highly recommend!

Ok my coworker told me about this place and I e been twice in 3 days! Granted the nice weather kept me going back cause I’ve been hanging at the Edmonds beach dog park. If you’re looking for a tap house that feels like a secret clubhouse for grown-ups, with great slushies, Edway Tap House is your spot. Nestled under a house in Edmonds, it’s got that “did I just stumble into something awesome?” I kept thinking wow I would love to own this place and live above it.

The slushie drinks here are dangerously good, icy, flavorful, and perfect for summer sipping. The rotating tap list features standout local beers and ciders from places like Urban Family Brewing and Obec Brewing, so there’s always something new to try. The bartender let us try a few cause 2 girls that aren’t huge beer drinkers are hard to please but we found 2 keepers!

They have theme Nights to keep it entertaining. Trivia nights bring out the brainy banter, and the cribbage club adds a quirky, nostalgic twist. There’s even a walking club if you want to earn your pint with a few steps first. Wish I lived in Edmonds cause I’d be down for a walking club.

Outdoor Games & Family-Friendly Vibes
Edway isn’t just for the 21+ crowd, it’s proudly kid-friendly, with outdoor games like cornhole that keep everyone entertained and ladder golf. The spacious patio makes it easy to relax while the little ones play, and the welcoming atmosphere means families feel right at home. Also dogs allowed so that’s my main reason for going too!

Plenty of space means you won’t be elbowing for a view, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it easy to settle in for a full match.

While Edway doesn’t serve food directly just some odd and ends like a pretzel I saw on the menu, they host a rotating cast of food trucks. Great find!

Lots of local options, kid friendly. Parking is limited when food truck is parked. Good place to chill, watch sports and enjoy the outdoors beer garden. Cool and friendly staff. Take away option too but fridge is semi sparse

What a vibe!!! Such a Community Center of ABUNDANCE

Katie, the owner is a very generous person who is allowing me to post up my branding and marketing here with QRs for my employment, businesses, and products.

She is so sweet, and is also allowing me to do Tarot & Oracle Readings here. Awesome beer. A local who I met at PCC and became friends with brought me here for their Ugly Christmas Sweater Party in July!

Blessed & grateful!

I’m always on the look out for a place to write. Over the years, I have been to almost every coffee house, library and bookstore, looking for just the right vibe. The other day, I found myself hankering for a beer and facing a deadline, when the idea hit me to see if I could combine business with pleasure. I looked around Google Maps and was surprised to find the Edway Taphouse. I shop at PCC and QFC but I have never seen the place. When I got there, they had signs and banners on the building and along the street, making me wonder how I missed it.
I got there right after it opened, so parking was easy. I noticed that there are far more seats inside (and on the patio) than there are parking spaces, so it might be a pain on a busy evening.
There is a clean, modern style bar on the left when you come in. Above that, a big sign shows so many beer, wine and cider options that the text was too small for my old eyes to read. Fortunately, the bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable. I talked about what I like and he offered me a couple of samples. I went with the pilsner. It was described as “hoppy” but I found it on the mild side. I tapped my card to pay $8 and a tip (it was happy hour), asked for the wifi password and found a spot in the back, near an outlet.
The website indicates that they are dog and family friendly. There were no dogs when I got there, but wild kids ran all over the place. There are cupboards in the back with toys and games to keep the little monsters occupied. Eventually, the toys were scattered everywhere but when they belonged. I like kids, but their running and screeching made it hard to work. When a woman with a dog came in and the dog jumped all over the furniture, I finished my beer and left.
If you want a place to let your kids run around while you enjoy an adult beverage, this is the place for you. Bring your dog and add to the fun. I’ll keep searching for a place to write.

Great new spot! They have non-alcoholic options and some snack options as well a solid beer list. There’s some outdoor seating out front and out back along the side of the building. Beer in cans to go and several TVs for your sports viewing pleasure.

Very happy to finally have this new spot open!

Awesome selection of local brews with occasional.out of the area specials. Terrific Away Days ESB, 5% ABV and I hit it at the right day and time at $6.50/pint! We will be back for other brews and the exceptional fries off the food truck.

A home away from home for our family. Great drinks selection, ever expanding food truck rotation and plenty of toys and space for the kids. Always a new friend to be made. The owner and staff are wonderful people. You will not be disappointed.

I hate recommending this place so it doesn’t ruin the vibe and get so crowded one can’t enjoy it but they need the love and support and beer drinkers coming in to enjoy this new beer drinking establishment.

Dogs and kids welcome.

Multiple seating areas and all are set up for small groups to get together while still being able to enjoy bigger gatherings, too.

Multiple TVs. Inside and outside seating and recreational areas.

Staff was great and very helpful.

Food truck onsite at times. Snacks available to purchase along with single beers from the cooler.

Lots of dining options within a few blocks.

This place is great! A much needed taproom in Edmonds, that offers a better variety of beers from local brewers that aren’t Salish. Staff is exceptionally friendly, they are dog friendly, and have a great patio. Every Monday at 6pm is cribbage, every Tuesday at 6 is Magic the Gathering, and every Wednesday at 7 is trivia. All in all, a great taproom in Edmonds that you must visit.

PS make sure you ask about finding the Gnome!
