One of the best hu tieu in orange county! They also have ” tép mỡ” (crispy pork skin) on top of the broth to make it more flavourful! The price is reasonable (cash only or zelle).
Their pork bun is also delicious too with $3 or $3.5 per bun. The place has plenty of parking, but pretty small during rush hour. Overall, good restaurant!

I love steam bun and noodle soup here. I’m not a fan of dry noodles since the sauce has more tomato flavor than oyster flavor. Its just a personal preference. Will keep coming back here for steam buns, especially the sweet buns.

This is hu tiếu Mỹ Tho. So this style is sweeter than other versions and their noodle is more chewy. Kudos to the owner for staying true to their root. The price is just right. The steam bun is superior than Yummy across the street. I grown up in Việt Nam eating at their original store there every months. This is as close as it gets.

I ordered hủ tíu đặc biệt with a big piece of rib. Soup bowl with good size and serve with a fresh vegie dish. I wished the broth should has deeper taste. In general hủ tíu is good. I will be back to try the “dry hủ tíu” and bánh bao.

I went there with my friend mainly wanted to try the hủ tiếu. We both ordered hu tieu my tho -dry version and small size( $10) and the bowl is relatively small. The taste of the sauce is more on the sweeter side. If you prefer your food more sweet , you’d like it, but it did not fit my taste cause its too sweet for me. The texture of the noodle is chewy, I’m not sure if that the style but I hope so. Otherwise, it’s not my favorite.

We came in one night for some banh bao (steamed buns). They told us they ran out of all except for a few kinds.
Okay, no problem. We’ll take a few of the ones you have left.
We ended up being charged more than the menu price. No explanation.
It was all paid in cash because the business doesn’t take card. You know they’re hiding from IRS with that, so the over charge isn’t for taxes.
Tbh, even if their food was better, I wouldn’t come back because of ethics.
The food was pretty mid (average).

Remarkable little restaurant. I’ve tried many hu tieu places like hu tieu phuong, de nhat, grandpa’s dry kitchen and etc. This and de nhat is definitely my go to for hu tieu. Tastes pretty similar to vietnam’s og.
