Penn station has become my favorite spot for a quick lunch. Every sandwich and wrap I have ordered has been delicious. Fries, cookies and lemonade are good too. The staff is always friendly and professional and they work fast. Online ordering is easy as well. And signing up for the Penn station rewards program is totally worth it.
Outstanding sandwiches, business, and staff. Happy customer here.

My Fiancé and I went in tonight around 9:30pm, when we went in there were a few other customers inside and only two workers. We waited for our order to be taken and while we waited for a few minutes we noticed how hard the staff members were working! I believe the woman who took our order is named Naleah, she was very kind, fast and helpful. We waited a bit for our food but did not mind at all as they were working so hard and more people came in behind us. She felt bad for our wait, which was totally fine and understandable, and gave a us two cookies! The sandwiches were delicious and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

For a good sub, there is no substitute!

Having seen a few Penn Stations while traveling, one finally opened near my hometown. So what do I do? Play Magic with a few friends til we get hungry and we make our way to Penn Station to try it out.

This location is conveniently located in the Metro Centre in Peoria, IL. Inside, the place is spacey, but not too big nor too small. It’s a good size for a ‘semi-fast food’ place. 10 people in there would make it seem busy but not crowded.

Any way, on to the food. I ordered an 8″ Chicken Parmesan and a small fry. They offered me a free water but I declined. The sub itself was good, if not lacking a bit in full flavor. They serve it splayed open and cut in half instead of folded up. Different, but cool. My friends and I liked the fries the most. A meal will run you about $10 if you get chips and soda.

The staff was friendly if not a bit unprofessional during down times. The store was super clean though. The on-duty manager stopped by our table to talk on his way out and he gave Alex grief for eating all his fries before he even touched his sub. Ha!

Firehouse Subs still holds my Top Spot for Subs. Sadly this did not come close to conquering the Top Spot. But… all-in-all, a pretty decent Sub place. It didn’t blow my taste buds away, but it didn’t really excite them too much either.

If you are interested in trying them out, there are over 300 locations in 15 states, so there might just be one near you!

I got a nasty look when I walked in at 8:49

I said hello!! No response.
Walked up to the register, employee walks up, signs in, and says “what are you having” I said, “hello” again. He replies hi in a monotone voice. As I went to come wrote this review I noticed they were closing soon. I also am in the service industry. Bars/Restaurants, none the less, service. I would NEVER treat someone like I was treated. I wanted to just walk out but I was hungry as I was at work all day. Even when my last customer came in I served them with a smile. He also missed out on a tip. Wont come back and its upsetting because its my favorite sub sandwich place.

I’ve always been a fan of Penn Station in South Carolina and now that Peoria has one… YES! I’m giving this location a 5 star based off of my first and only visit so far. The service was excellent and the food was the best prepared compared to any other Penn Station I have visited. I love the fresh lemonade!

Fries were good, sandwich was decent enough. The price was a little outlandish if I must say so myself. The service was… Disappointing. I heard more gossip in my time eating here than I would like to admit. I can’t say I would eat here again.

I’m done with this place. Ordered a turkey Dagwood to go. Got home and there was no turkey on it. It was just the toasted bread. They forgot to put the meat on the sandwich. This is the 2nd time this has happened.

Pretty decent food. Subs were hot and alright tasting. The fries were better than most. Overall adequate for the price Mike’s Sub or Mccallister is better. This location was clean and the associates were all nice. Theyre located in the Metro Center which is near to our work so we gave them a try.

Oh, my. The fries were so greasy. I had to drink them. I can feel it now, too. Sandwich not so good either.

I walked in about 20 minutes ago. There was not a single soul in there but 1 worker I saw, who looked at me from the back of house, never came up to acknowledge me or take my order. I sat inside for 10 minutes at the register without being acknowledged after we made eye contact. I will not be coming back.
