Food was great and pricing was very reasonable. They were somewhat busy. Asked for hot sauce on two separate occasions. Was acknowledged by the server both times, yet they never brought it out. Server offered refills once during our dining.

The shells to tacos were either not thoroughly cooked or they were stale. I’m guessing not thoroughly cooked because it was so very pale. The chips were much darker and more cooked than the taco shells.
The tacos were so bad, I won’t return.
On the up side, their Mojito was pretty good and I will happy tell any one who asks that il the mojito was above standard.

If i could give zero stars i would. The manager of this place is extremely rude! Wanted to switch out the meat in a meal (even stating we are absolutely okay with an upcharge). He said “let me explain it so you can understand” as he told us that he will make ZERO alterations or substitutions for ANYTHING on their menu. That’s definitely interesting for a restaurant to not allow any minor changes on their meals to accommodate customers BUT even if that is their stance, he could have been kind and professional about it which would make a world of difference.
Review #2… went here against my better judgement, but my wife thought we should give them a second chance. Turns out, I was Right again. Two lunch orders and chips with queso was $55 and of course we were not satisfied. My meal came with rice and beans, I asked for double rice, did not get that, no utensils were added and zero napkins. The steak tacos were BURNT, the plate was messing and only got one small side of “Red Onions” what? And cilantro with stems and all no care to cut it for tacos. There are WAY too many Mexican Restaurants in this area to waste your money and time going here.

Hands down a beautiful surprise in the middle of Southern Pines. Great food and ample portions. Everyone was super nice, and accommodating. Just a calm laid back atmosphere, now that didn’t mean slow service, just no one seemed to be running around or stressed, just calm cool and collected! We will return, and recommend anyone looking in the area to give e it a trt!

The food was surprisingly good AND the protein had decent portions
Cuban tacos had nice sized shrimps and a big slice of avocado.
Same with the pollo
The chicken was nicely marinated
The sizzling steak was cooked well (next time will need to say lightly cooked), chicken w/ shrimp was pretty filling and shared with another.
The sauces were tasty without being overwhelming
Tomatoes fresh
Lettuce could have been better but it seems it’s not soaked in whatever chemical thing that preserves most resto salad (which my spouse reacts to)
The chrurros were yum and not just the regular dough. It had filling.
Menu might benefit from having some pics, but the font was ok and description was sufficient.
We will be back to try the other stuff 🙂

Best Mexican food in moore county if you ask me. It never disappoints! I live about an hour away, and anytime I crave Mexican food, I travel to eat there, because the meat tastes nothing like the Mexican restaurants near me, its like better quality! And the staff is always attentive and eager to cater to your needs! Best all around! My kids even love eating there, their favorite is the rice and beans!
