If you’re around the area, I’d compare the level of food here to A Thousand Tales but these guys are more focused and the menu is not as diverse. Not to say it’s a negative. These guys keep the selection small and do it well.
Everything down to the sauces are all made IN house! They give you very generous servings. The restaurant is very clean and decorated beautifully. It’s enjoyable to sit and enjoy your meals here. They don’t rush you either. The menu is plentiful and items are priced nice.
Hummus – very smooth & flavorful taste. The presentation with warm pita. 5
Falafels were made to order and served piping hot. I like that they were light, fluffy and not a bit greasy! 5+
Salad – served chilled, crisp and with a kiss of mint, fresh lemon juice and good olive oil! The dressing rounds out the platter of multiple flavors. 5
The Chicken kabab platter had an excellent presentation. The marinated chicken was super moist, soft and seasoned perfectly. The saffron rice went very well. 5+
The Kofta kabab (beef) platter had a very nice presentation. The beef kabab was seasoned with thier own spice mix and was authentic traditionally Assyrian. Another excellent plate! 5+
There’s nothing better than ending the perfect meal with a nice hot cup of tea with fresh made baklava and talumba (fried dough with a honey syrup). 5+
If you’re looking for an enjoyable meal with ALL fresh made ingredients everyday then this is the place!
Practically our neighbors, we are new to the neighborhood and still trying to support our local restaurants with passion.
We are delighted to find this fantastic place our new middle eastern restaurant. Mouth watering flavors and body loving nutrition. Salad amazing. I had the 2 way meats one beef kafta well cooked and seasoned on top of a bed of flavored rice comes with salad and chicken breast not dried and good flavor, side of hummus good portion for price and lentil soap warm your soul.$36 dollars for everything. I only eat once a day so price range for me is perfect. You can share for sure if you want. It was plenty. I wanted to thank you for opening up and sharing your passion for business and food thank you!
I ordered Grubhub based on the reviews this place has on google and Grubhub and either everyone lied on reviews or the restaurant had a horrendously bad night.
Food: the mix grill was soo salty that eating salt by itself felt less salty. Meats tasted mediocre if not worse. The rice was atrocious, broken, mushy and sticky.
Sauce: this is an unspoken rule, especially if your food is predicated on sauces. Increase the amount of sauce as the quantity of food increases for the love of god you can’t give 1 hot and 1 white for small order and large.
Service: I didn’t personally go into the restaurant but called to clarify few things on the order and person had hard time understanding and communicating.
I gave it 2 stars because it’s family owned, otherwise it’s a 1 star because I had to throw away salty food.
